Well, he says that now, but considering there is at least 2,000 more pages left in the series and a whole lot of awful cruel **** is going to happen its likely he's going to change his mind on the matter at some point in book 6 or 7. Out of desperation, cause if its between letting the white walkers massacre all of westeros or burning his daughter to try to try to appease the Lord of Light he is probably going to sacrifice his daughter.
