Metal Gear is my favorite video game of all time. I am excited, I am finally getting Metal Gear Solid 2 for my PC in a couple days. I hope they get someone good to play Snake.

correction...they're making a METAL GEAR movie, hehe. Kojima said that if the movie is made it'll be an original story...it won't be based off of any of the games. anyway, i like most of your cast. here's my "dream cast"...

It definatley shouldn't be based on any existing game. These games are so damn cinematic anyways, why bother turning it into a movie?

They need either a completely original movie, or to base it off the old NES games. Use the basic plot structure of those, but change details to make it a good movie. Not a lot of people have played those games, so it'd be bringing Snake's origin story to a much wider audience. Not to mention it wouldn't confuse those who aren't familiar with the Metal Gear series, and it wont be a trimmed down version of a game that's already a movie itself.

That list would work if not for: Selma Blair, Bill Nighy, Charlize Theron and Monica Belluci. None of theses people would fit the film let alone their roles.

I stand by Bill Nighy as Ocelot. Part reason I chose Monica Bellucci is because of her resemblance to Naomi.

I saw Tears of The Sun last night, and I have to say that I think Johnny Messner could make good Snakes. But NO, NO, NO to Hayter.
