The Most Poorly Titled Movies of All Time

Dumb and Dumber To. :o

Actually that's a great title within the context of the movie.

But the problem is that dumb people (online) will think it's grammatically correct. Which is fitting and funny, and the dumb people aren't self-aware enough to know this.

These days, it's not just your and you're, but I've been noticing more misusage of 'to' and 'too'.

The second AVP movie, I don't know what it's called

Requiem, which was chosen so the movie can sound smart. Otherwise, it's utterly meaningless within the context of the actual film.

The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini

Fat Guy Goes Nutzoid

I Dismember Mama

Fire Maidens from Outer Space

Android Cop

Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark

Apocalypse Pompeii

Atlantic Rim

2 Headed Shark Attack

Almighty Thor

Air Collision

Eh.

I don't count B-movies, direct to DVD schlock in 'poorly titled' films category just by their nature. Mega Shark vs Mecha Shark is what it is.

I know I am in the minority, but I still hate the title The Dark Knight Rises.

While I don't hate the title, that's almost the way I feel about "Batman Begins". Is it the worst title ever? Not by a long shot, but something about it just sounds awkward to me.

For me, it's partially that, and partially "oh my god! If we don't call it The Dark Knight Something, no one will know that it is a sequel to the previous, better movie!"

Also, I know people will analyze the movie and argue this point, I really don't think it fits the movie, but I figure we should keep that out if this thread.

It's still the greatest movie of all time so I don't even cared why it's called The Room.

:o

I've seen SO much misused words on the internet. One that makes my eyes roll is people writing "could of" instead of "could have". I see that a lot on this very site.
