They make good keyboards and mice (well, whoever they OEM them from does). Other than that, everything Microsoft makes is crap. Terrible hardware design and reliability. Software that's so buggy it shouldn't even be considered an alpha release. Draconian licensing schemes. Atrociously high pricing schemes. I have no idea why people keep buying their products.

You're just bitter that Apple doesn't make computers for gamers. There's no rational reason why that should stop you from getting a quality mp3 player instead of sticking with the biggest piece of crap since boy bands.

Apple computers are excellent game machines, There is an easy way to get around the Windows only thing: Boot Camp or if you have a powerPC DarWINE.

I don't understand the appeal of a Zune. They are clunky, ugly and aren't as user friendly as iPods. Those are the major appeals of iPods...they are beautiful and are so easy to use. I would love to get the iPod touch but am going to wait for either a larger harddrive or the 2nd gen iPhone.

totally weak they only come in 8 and 16 gig. maybe there'd be more room for music if they didnt try to cram a bunch of unecessary crap on it like the internet, youtube, and a wifi music store.

As somebody who ownes a PC and works evryday on an apple at school, I have to say that Im not impressed by the equal crappyness of software on both sides I have just as much problems with freezing and such as I do on my PC, especially with apple art programs, I've gotten the rainbow circle of death too many times....

There are so many aftermarket iPod products to not consider getting one. There is PLENTY of competition out there for the iPod for them to have a monopoly...why do you think they're #1 on the market? Hmmm...yathink because they're good products?
