I've liked Amanda Conner's art since I first saw it. It's... charming. I think it works pretty well here. That's not the batcave, that's the original JLA cave.
I would've preferred a different artist on this. And, well, a different writer.
I don't know if they ever "hooked up" but I know something happened between them that involved Dinah getting dipped into the Lazarus pits and getting back her powers.

Winick, on the other hand, could never write comics again and I'd be happy.
i actually liked the green arrow/black canary wedding special. say what you want about amanda connor's art, but she packs a lot stuff into each panel. her pencils are very simple and cartoon-ish looking, but there are tons of things going on in the background and it was a blast to check out everyone during that big rumble at the wedding. winnick's writing wasn't too bad, either. sure, there were some mischaracterizations, but the story was pretty fun and well written. my favorite part, hands down, was the bachelorette party scene with zatanna screaming "ekat ti ffo, ybab!" at a male stripper. it's worth picking, in my opinion.
That is terrible! We just got done in Countdown hearing Zatanna lecture Mary Marvel about the responsibilities of magic and calling her an ungrateful brat, but it's ok for her to use her gift to see a male strippers' dick? Countdown is so bad it's killing everything it touches. It's even ****ing up Sinestro Corps, and there is better storytelling in one panel of GL than there is in a whole issue of Countdown. Jason Todd and Bob the Monitor? Seriously?
I wish Chiang would draw something worthwhile. Like a Connor Hawke series.
It's not really that hard to eat a part of Green Arrow. Just ask half the superheroine population of the DC universe.
