ok so my ****** brother downloaded a torrent of the NXE and now im hoping our console wont get banned anyone what might happen?

You just can't use XBL until the official release, I don't think MS is trying to crack down on people who download it early, but XBL does not work with the current downloadable version.

Yeah its not for sure that you will be banned from live, it was just hinted to that it might happen.

Here's a quick review of it...

Netflix- AWESOME

Installs- AWESOME

Avatars- A complete non-issue

Marketplace- Much better, and easier to navigate

Being able to delete games off your list- Great feature. Goodbye Yaris.

They sent him an email so I'm thinking he didn't sign up, probably a group of people chosen at random depending on how long they haave been on live, and it really shouldn't matter because it will be out in 9 days. t:

ok, good. there's far to many good games out there for me to not be playing. Plus I was thinking about this a bit more and he technically hasnt modded anything, and thats what MS usually bans for.

It's not up anymore to register to get in. I linked to it either earlier in this thread, or in the other NXE thread that's floating around somewhere here. It's full though. I got into the second wave of it, which they added after so many people signed up.

The Netflix thing is a non-issue for me, since my TV is hooked up directly to my PC anyway. I'm mostly looking forward to the avatars and the new layout. I never did like the blades much. The new version looks much more open and less cluttered.

All the old themes will be usable. There has been plenty of footage with them. Also there will be new Themes 2.0 or whatever, which interact with the dashboard.

I think I pay like $10 monthly for my 1 dvd at a time service. I'm pretty sure it's unlimited monthly too, which means no limit to how many I can watch during each month.

There is a designated list of movies (which gets added to regularly) on Netflix that are available for Instant viewing. These are the movies which can be viewed through the new XBL. Only the Instant library works with XBL, the rest of the Netflix library must be mailed to you.

The cheapest Netflix package has a limit to how many hours of instant you can watch per month, every other package above that has unlimited. I'm not positive, but I every promo for the NXE has stated it works with the unlimited versions, though I don't see why it wouldn't work for the cheapest one. It's really not that much more money to upgrade to a package with unlimited Instant, all the prices are cheap.

My plan is $13.99 per month, 2 movies sent to me at a time, and unlimited instant queue downloads.

that's around the time roughly when major things are added. I remember that's when they added the 1st set of new Halo 3 maps among other things. I'll be putting on the 360 when I get up to start the update and hope its done updating by the time I run a few errands
