Everything with BP has been perfect so far, I love the shot of him pulling Bucky off the bike in the trailer, and the way the bullets from the gunman on the chopper just bounce off him.

I think the chase sequence with BP, Bucky, Cap and the government agents that starts at the UN building will be the standout set-piece of the summer!

How did they get his suit so right? Just a thing of beauty.

Yeah looking forward to that scene with Bucky. Don't think he's going to take it lying down!

I bloody well hope so. After watching BvS and loving the fight scene where Batman takes out the goons who are holding Ma Kent hostage, I went back to watch Winter Soldier and the fight choreography in this film is just insane. I forgot how fist-pumpingly awesome they are. Cap infiltrating the tanker ship at the start of the film and beating up the terrorists was just mwah...beautifully brutal and of course the other fights throughout the film, particularly the hand to hand combat between Cap and Bucky round 1 on the highway....If we can get that sort of amazing brutal and gorgeous fight choreography, particularly for BP I might start spazzing out before exploding. I need this **** now!

Thanks for that!

I really hope his superior intellect is on full display and I'm extremely curious to know more about his fighting style. He has to be beyond badass!

Probably so, I think it's more of a helmet than a mask though. But the utter detail they put into that thing is just too much to process.

I think BPs suit gives a little clue as to what Wakanda is like. Its a mix of high-tech and ancient African tribal iconography.

Looking at that mask in that close up, it almost seems like the mouth portion could come off, resembling his retro look.

Kinda makes me wonder, every MCU hero undergoes changes in costumes after each appearanc. What can they change in BP's costume?

His costume actually shouldn't change.

It's not really a superhero costume, it's supposed to be a tribal habit. Think of it as like the outfit the pope wears.

Other costumes that I don't expect to change are Dr Strange Thor. People overlooking that the only changes made to Thor's costume is that in Avengers films he sometimes looses the metal sleeves for some unknown reason.

The only thing they could add is the cape but only in Wakanda. I nver liked when he used it while fighting, it ticked me the wrong way.

The latest TV spot would explain this.

Do you guys think BP is way too powerful? Bullets bounce off him, he can run super fast and he has super strength. Sounds pretty invincible.

You pretty much just described Captain America. Only difference is Cap carries a Vibranium shield instead of wearing a Vibranium suit.

So unless you're willing to say Cap is way too powerful, you can't really say that about Black Panther.

Well Vibranium is indestructible so you cant get around that but Im sure his own powers only go so far. I think they want BP to stand up to Cap so it introshim as a powerful character. It wouldnt be very good if Cap just kicked his cat butt in every scene.

They're just going with how they're portrayed in the comics. Cap and Panther are always shown as near physical peers. Cap is usually a bit stronger and T'Challa is faster and more agile.

Their fights in the comics usually end in a draw and if they don't it's because one was at a decided disadvantage.

And Panther's costume isn't indestructible this is how the vibranium weave suit is described by the guy that created it:

The Panther's costume contains a Vibranium microweave mesh that works a lot like super-kevlar. The microweave robs incoming objects of their momentum (bullets do not ricochet off but simply fall to the ground when they come in contact with the weave). Likewise, the Panther cannot be stabbed, but the costume (and Panther) can be cut if the attacker slashes along the grain of the costume

So think of the difference between Cap shield and T'Challa suit like the difference between a a regular shield made out of steel and chainmail made out of steel.

Love the detail of the cowl. :hrt:

Holy ****. It's perfection. Thanks for posting this.
Marvel has the best production designers in the business, this much I'm sure of.

Remember when the set photos came out and people were complaining about how the suit looked like cloth?

The suit looks amazing now and it makes me more hyped for the solo movie.

Agreed. I'm particularly interested in seeing how the Russo Brothers handle the insanely powerful characters like Hulk, Thor, Thanos etc. in Infinity War (in terms of fight choreography, special effects choices etc.).

Yes, it's almost gotten to the point where I'm more excited in seeing BP than anything else, even the Cap/Iron Man "civil war".

I've never seen Chadwick Boseman in a movie before so I'm not really familiar with his talents, but I'm confident in what the Russos are going to do with his character, and for the movie overall.

Just three weeks left.

You should check out 42 and Get On Up, both show how he can play quiet, reserved, and stoic but can also be adaptive of a large personality with an accent and gestures, mimicking mannerisms quite well.

Noted, thanks!

We'll get an idea with Vision and Wanda in CW.
