BUT...given the fact that the Invasion petition has over 50,000 sigs, its own website, campaign, and a DAMN airplane fly over ABC HQ with a banner to save invasion...and it still hasn't work...I dunno if this petition will work. Maybe for a DVD release though...

Taye Diggs’ TV series “Daybreak,” has been cancelled due to low ratings. One demographic who refused to support this series was African-American women; because Diggs’ girlfriend on the show was non-black. Their lack of support was instrumental in the numbers being down and the show getting the boot. This same scenario was responsible for “Kojak,” starring Ving Rhames getting axed, his love interest was also non-black on the show. Black women are sending Hollywood a powerful message. ‘If you want our support, cast black actresses opposite black men in your shows.’

Whoa Whoa see this makes me question what some of these networks say about these shows. I remember last week abc said 13 million viewers were watching daybreak so that was a lie.

This show was good better than lost even and they cancel it.

It wasn't better than Lost in the end. I fell asleep watching last week's ep... I never fall asleep watching Lost.

Isn't ABC the network that cancelled Emily's Reasons Why Not after 1 episode? It's ridiculous to place so much stock in ratings when your show is airing during a typically dead time for shows. Plus the show was more of a miniseries, why can't we see what actually happened?

With every waning day, i'm starting to care less and less that DayBreak won't be back... I was already beginning to feel disconnected.

Fans of ABC's Day Break -- few as they turned out to be -- will at least be able to follow the storyline through to its conclusion, when the network yanks it from its schedule this week and moves the unaired episodes to its website. In fact, ABC said that new episodes will become available online at the same time they would normally have aired -- at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. Meanwhile, several publications, citing industry rumors, said that ABC is speeding up production of Lost to get the drama back on the air ASAP. In the meantime, the time period will feature reruns of George Lopez and According to Jim.

I find it funny, and stupid, how they're gonna pull this show yet keep The Nine on haitus status with a possible return later in Janurary I mean wtf !? That show bit ass!

I hope it gets the JAG treatment ...

JAG was dropped by NBC after 2 seasons and later was picked up by CBS for another 8 seasons

Then again, those moves are very rare.
