Maybe but until recently I don't think that was really true for speedsters and with the way they have handled the speedster mythos it now suggest that a speedster can't die.

Problem is, Max never actually went to the speed force... he got taken over the Rival and time traveled and then suddenly he's in the speed force in Infinite Crisis...

This solicits say that Barry finds a dead speedster and realizes the dangers of being a flash. He probably finds Kid zoom and realizes how easy it is for the rogues to kill speedsters.

What would finding a dead speedster do to show Barry Allen the "dangers of being a Flash"? The guy sacrificed himself to save the universe, I'm pretty confident that he already knows the dangers of the job.

Yeah it just doesn't make sense.

And even if he died again so what? He would just enter the Speed Force again.

Apparently it no long longer matters how a speedster "dies" as they always just enter the Speed Force which is slowly becoming a revolving door.

Meh, it doesn't bother me. Barry Allen alone should blow any thoughts of the dead staying dead in comics out of your head. Everyone will come back eventually in some form. Might as well just get used to it.

Kind of a shame that they're wasting an issue on the fifty millionth Superman/Flash race. Although, it might be worth it if Barry turns out to be slower than Superman. He won't, but I like to dream.

How can you be so sure? The question has plagued DC fans for decades!

It would be nice if Barry was slower than Superman after he comes back, but that would mean that Wally would be faster than both, and that's not allowed.

Of course. In fact, I bet Wally tries to join the race, trips, and eats it across 3 states (presuming the race takes place in the US, of course). Then Clark and Barry laugh about it.

Really? Never saw the show. I mostly know that dude (John Wesley Ship, I think his name is?) as Dawson's dad.

And I'm already ashamed I watched Dawson's Creek when I was younger.

Hell, Dawson's Creek, 7th Heaven, Charmed, all those show from the WB are a huge part of my youth. I will never be ashamed of those.

Speaking of Charmed, I just got the full series on DVD. In the bigass book. It's got detailed pages per season on who the big bad's are, oh man it's awesome.

Also, Flash...Rebirth. Whens issue 1 coming out?
