I found it the biggest disappointment of the week, and the worst Flash #1 of all time.

I mean some of the new mini series such as Checkmate. Along with Nightwing, they seem to have the intent of being exciting in their iconoclasm. Instead, I find them to be a frustrating subversion of the tone and pace of the characers and their adventures before the year-jump.

Hmmm....well, I don't know about the comparison of Nightwing and Checkmate. Nightwing is only one man...while Checkmate is a team book right? (Not quite sure)

As for the frustration...well, you know the saying....for every great story and writer...there must be balanced with a few hundred bad stories and artists. Be patient, young jedi....Another great story arc is on the horizon.

at least that's what I keep telling myself.

ive been jaded! DC has just been keeping me happy up until this point... i think this whole flash fiasco is horrid... the way they are treating bart and wally... and its really like the writers just got out of creative writing 101... no wonder the flash series didnt last....

I like the fact that DC are trying to pretend:

1) the flash tv series was good
2) it was a success
3) everyone loved it
4) they accuratly portrayed Barry in it and knew their history

It's a joke, I'm all for new talent but can we get some comic book writers on the books first please :x

Ummm i never read about the inertia guy but the cape is ridiculous and gay. Is it really inertia in the issue? Is he good bad what?

its not going to be inertia... this relaunch has been way too predictable... and the art sucks... seriously... when i was 8 and i would get a ninja turtles mini comic at pizza hut the art was better

That artwork looks good or is that only the cover?

thats probably the cover... and its OK art... not that great... you can find great art in TT, Supes or Robin... this art is substandard at best... its sloppy, over sketchy and confusing

ehhh i rather have lashley's art on robin and how is the art confusing. I've seen worst from howard porter when he was on the book.
