Funny, Id say Porter is one the definitive Flash artists. GAH hates anything that is good.

sigh... hopefully DC will realize the suckage that this is and turn things around PRONTO... there was no reason to give wally the boot... and it was done in such a sucky way...
barry went out like a hero... GOOD.
hal got screwed... BAD.
wally DISAPPEARS?!?!? just plain LAME

Well I think it's just too early to tell. I liked the art, but all the flashbacks were a little tiresome and this "Griff" monkey has got to go. I was seriously hoping he'd die, but not this time. Maybe he can be like Bart's Gwen Stacy, (not in a gay way, more in like a Viking kinda way.)

Anyhoo, so this is the new & exciting approach to the speed force. There better be a whole lot more speedin' around in issue two or I'm gonna...I'm gonna....well, I'm gonna buy issue three. What else can a Flash fan do?

I can't wait for Zoom to show up again :D

I really liked issue #1 personally, don't see the fuss over it. It's one of my fave oyl titles right now. :)

so does supes/action
GL corps
first half of the current robin arc
ive heard aquaman is good... same with ion, i just picked up 1-3 so well see

ya but all those kinda have something to build on. so does the flash but this is a new man behind the mask. i thought it was great for what it was ment to be...a building block

It wasn't even that. All it did was introduce one of the most annoying and hatable supporting characters ever and give Bart's age.

i knew i forgot to write something. i read the new flash. i thought it was good.

I read it and still didn't get Barts age............

............Wait a minute, does that mean they were only able to keep SBP in the Speed force for 40 min?

lol. joke, right? funny...

ya man i am just messing with u.

but ya bart is 20

hey does anyone elses cover say aug '06 on it? and if so can someone tell me y it says aug?

I remember that Bart said he spent a relative 1 1/2 years reading every book in the San Francisco library, it took him 20 min. He was 16 when after he did this.

He was nineteen when he came out after they trapped SBP, meaning 3 years went by. So if you look at what happened he spent only 40 min. doing this(but it was like 3 years).

I'm making this assumption off of the 20 min = 1 1/2 years. So yeah.......

I think hes talking that from the point the Flashes got SBP in the speed force and when SBP reappeared only 40 minutes passed in the comic. Where he got that 40 minutes is beyond me.

That doesn't even begin to make sense. You're taking his reading every book in the San Francisco library, which is just his super-speed allowing him to do something super-fast, and applying that ratio to time spent in the Speed Force, where we know virtually nothing about how time passes to begin with.

Corp makes a point, AND puss in boots sword carries the sting of the deadly Monarch!

But yeah, since we dont know a lot about the Speed Force all we can really do is throw lunch meat at the wall and see what sticks. Intellectually that is...
