If he doesn't seem like Wally or Barry why would he be a good Flash?
Well Bale doesnt remind me of the traditional Bruce Wayne and Daniel Craig doesnt remind me of classic Bond and Ive liked what theyve done with the character for the most part
and Ackles while he doesnt remind me of Barry or Wally he is a talented actor so I wouldn't mind if he was picked

oh i would like it alot if either supernatural guys could get into a superhero movie.

probably since wally been in the public more last few years since barry was still dead in the comic world.
Most polls I've seen support this, although I'd dare say that Wally often has a slight edge over Barry in terms of popularity.

Yeah that could be it. Most likely it is it for alot of ppl.
For me someone who has read some Barry and some Wally I vastly prefer Wally. But theyre both cool

I hope for this especially since the show might end this season

I tried to make one for Barry Allen but I had a problem with thinking of young (since thats what DC seems to go for) blonde actors. Yeah I know there that small invention called hair dye. But it was weird that I couldnt think of one. NPH maybe. Any others?

YEah he is....
Any other Barry suggestions besides Scott Porter and NPH

Also does anybody have any Flash manips? ive seen some for superman, Batman, WOnder WOman, Green Arrow, and even for Aquaman
but I dont remember ever seeing any for Flash

Yeah hes not really Barry to me
Two good choices for Barry are Phillip Winchester and Ryan Gosling...my top choices for Aquaman and Green Arrow though

I say Zoom should be like the Sinestro villain where he gets used only later in the series. He should be introduced as a small character at first. But Captain Cold would be ok, I think they need a stronger villain or include Cold as one of the Rogues

i could see captain cold, mirror master would be a visually cool guy to use, maybe captain boomerang, i would maybe include zoom but dont make him into full on villain for first one. Leave that for a sequel to develop his hatred for the flash. That is a key thing about that guy right?

well we do know which ever flash is choosen to be the first film flash they will probably only be looking for someone between 24-35 years old when casting is to go. I said it before i have no love or hate to either wally or barry. I would prefer to start off the flash film series with the first silver age flash. Make a refrence or maybe even have jay included somewhere in the film be that he was a tv character or a comic book or even real person. But barry to be the flash. Then you can still include wally in there if its a early barry flash 24-27 yrs old range in script, they could easily have wally be what 9 yrs difference and be about 18-19 yrs old if they went with a 27 yr old in script barry. and wally could be a minor character in the film. Then in sequel they could get into the whole thing he was there when barry got powers or developed them in some other way and then maybe in sequel have barry die. Wally takes over at the end of the second film. Then 3rd film would be all wally.

Of those three actors Porter is the best for Flash.

I say for Wally, Steve Talley.
I've only seen him in the American Pie DTVs he was alright in them

I think it depends which Zoom (and Flash) they choose that idea of having Zoom be good in the first film and then eventually turn bad in a sequel would work well for Hunter Zolomon (Wally's reverse flash)
But with Professor Zoom I think his whole good into bad arch could be shown in one film

Porter looks exactly like Wally especially in that pic. It actually looks like he was the model for some artist when they draw Wally

As far as villains go I say (if it were split into 3 films)
With Barry
First: Weather Wizard
Second: Professor Zoom
Third: The Rogues

First: Weather Wizard (Hunter Zolomon being a supporting character)
Second: Hunter Zolomon/Zoom
Third: The Rogues (Weather Wizard, Captain Boomerang, Mirror Master)

should be interesting to see if things do get off the ground for flash and which flash they do indeed intend to start off with.

little thing to try and liven up this thread a little

Mark Waid said if DC was going to do a Wally West DTV he would want Wil Wheaton to voice him (http://speedforce.org/). He voiced Aqualad on Teen Titans.

If they made a Barry one I would mind NPH returning. Even though I didnt like The NEw Frontier that much I though Boreanaz and NPH were perfect voice casting choices

Cool, but if they made a Barry one I would want John Wesley Shipp voiceing Barry.

From IGN:
The Flash Hobbled?
Christopher Monfette said:
Producer brings us up to speed on the superhero's status.

IGN recently had the chance to catch up with The Dark Knight producer Charles Roven whose attachment to a feature version of The Flash appears to be on the ropes.

"I was involved at one point with The Flash," said Roven. "And Warner Bros. came to me and said, 'The work that you've been doing hasn't yet resulted in something that any of us, including the filmmaking team, feel could be greenlit as a movie. We're trying to accomplish something that takes into account the entire, rich DC character world, and we'd like to pull it back. That doesn't mean that you aren't going to be a part of it. We just want to take a different kind of approach. Do you mind if we try that?' If we had something that was really working…"

It sounds more and more to me like Warner Bros. and DC are planning on following Marvel's approach to their franchises as of late, with groundwork being laid down for a JLU movie that crosses over the characters from all the films. w00t! :woot:
