oh totally i wouldnt want them to be changed out of the blue and all that. they should be able to keep the character's essence and charm there. I agree if they want them to be silly they should point it out clearly to the fans that is what they are.

Has anyone ever considered John Krasinski (sp?)? He'd probably be a natural choice for Wally, but might make a decent Barry too.

Id probably want him for Barry more than Wally, but hes Ted Kord if anyone

from what i understand, from the humor department, is that all of the Flashes are funny in their own different way:

Barry is funny but has a sense of warmth and down to earth vibe to his humor. So John Krasinaski is ideal for that.

Wally is witty (Ryan Reynolds type) while Bart is brash and a firecracker. Am I right?

i believe that is how they are in the comics, according to what i heard people say. Only flashs i know is the animated ones, smallville's impluse, and the 90s live action show.

I'm a huge Flash fan, lol, I'd say that's about right with Barry. You got Wally and Bart right too for the most part, except I'd say that Wally has (when he's written right) always had a bit of angst about him and Bart can come off very snotty sometimes.

Personally, I hope Barry gets the film, I am loving him in Blackest Night and Rebirth (New Frontier was great too, film and book). But if not Barry then Wally of course.

Now Krasinski would be a PERFECT Elongated Man/Ralph Diny, IMO. I don't see him as Flash, personally, he would be a decent Ted Kord but I can't think of a better choice for Elongated Man.

Hell, if this isn't Ralph and Sue:

I read alot of flash books(mostly barry and bart books but some Wallu books) but the only flash shows I watched was:

the 90s show Barry

70s live action barry

the batman appearances/Barry Allen version

Smallville Impulse/bart Allen

the STAS/jl/jlu/dcau flash/WALLY

SUPERFRIENDS BARRY
live action JL Barry
but evach Flash humor come off in deffernt way

Jay- food old day
Barry- serious, down to earth humor
Wally-mature version of Bart humor only with a brash, sarcastic level
Bart-impulsive

well i think still it will probably be barry since he is back from the dead and and current flash(along with wally right?).

^^^wait until their comic sales go down and we'll get a whole new Flash altogether :ninja: but I bet the new co feature will be good

Im still hoping for the 5% chance of it being Wally in the movie

well i am sure they will have wally included in the film even if the main film character is barry.

yea there was only flash in superfriends for a few episodes, then the 90s live action show, the appearance on stas in mid 90s, then in jl/jlu, and the failed jl tv pilot.

Let's just hope that the movie doesn't rape their personalities in favor of the more heroic stereotype, like they did Iceman in the X-Men comics. I don't want to see Barry acting more like Wally or Bart.

well that could easily happen. but hopefully it wont. Hopefully they will just do barry as barry, wally as wally, and so on.

I want Barry Allen as Flash, and Scott Porter is just perfect for that role, now only if WB can speed up the fastset man on Earth so that he can be on Screens before 2013.

After seeing the fantastic job he did with Zombieland, I think Ruben Fleischer might be the director with the kind of spark, style and energy that's just right for The Flash.

well i do hope when ever that big dc meeting is happening for it to be officially announced that the flash is indeed happening, they at least have a draft in thats approved and either announce a new director for the project or have it announced that a new director is be looked for. Then hopefully a tentative release date year.

Me too! I want to see Barry, THE Flash. No Spider-Man level wisecracking or inferiority "issues" Wally bullcrap, I wanna see him as badass and awesome as he is in Blackest Night. That's Barry. :D

If WB wants to see how they should portray Barry Allen in a film, look no further than Darwyn Cooke's DC: The New Frontier.

well there will probably be some humor thrown in there. As i recall from you guys each flash barry/wally/bart has their degrees of humor when they were/are the flash correct.
