I'd have two: Captain Cold and Mirror Master (The second one). If there's enough time and space, I'd add a third one, which could be either Weather Wizard or Heat Wave. Weather Wizard is probably a better choice because he has greater powers.

Those are some good choices.

Personally I never got Captain Boomerang, I never understood why he was a threat to the Flash.

Are there any decent pictures from The Flash tv series? Like promo shots? Or even a good manip? Was wanting to work on a JL group manip, but need something to work with for Flash. If it's a manip, of course the owner can be asked before being used.

Sure have, haven't found anything of decent quality though. I see some used in fanart, one shot in particular, but it's impossible to find, at least for me. lol

If I was assembling a group of Rogues for a movie, I'd think along these lines:

Captain Cold - leader
Mirror Master - transport
Heat Wave - contrast with cold, because the villain scenes would be dull otherwise
Weather Wizard - versatile power
Captain Boomerang - scumbag/comic relief

Obviously you couldn't get in depth with them, but do you need to? They're crooks with "guns" in it for the money.

There are enough Rogues that you probably can sneak in cameos. Flash has a big Rogue's gallery and finding a way to use it can help separate him from other superheroes. Speed vs. numbers.

If you use all the rogues gallery in the first movie, what are you going to do in a possible sequel? Invent new villains?
Although the way Flash's villains work it would be easy. Lets see:
A villain dressed in a flashy suit using a slingshot: Captain Slingshot.
A villain dressed in a flashy suit throwing bananas for Flash to slip on: Banana Master.
And so on.

But assuming the movie is 2 hours long, where will you get the time to focus on the Flash as a character and do his origin and focus on 3 villains as characters.

Movie one should stick to just one villain, like Weather Wizard or Mirror Master. I don't want them to go with multiple villains or a reverse flash until the characters have been properly set up.

I've said it before and I'll say it again David Goyer's idea for a Flash movie is what I wanted. As much as I like Geoff Johns his Flash movie most likely will be something I don't really care for. In this article from 2008 Goyer basically sums up one of the many reasons why Wally West is such a great character.

Sounds like it would have been exactly what I was saying I wanted a while back when I was calling for a Wally Flash movie. Too bad we'll never see Goyer's Flash made, it sounds like it could have been really good.

Hopefully though, Johns does a movie that will honor the Flash legacy and respects both the Barry fans and the Wally fans. I know some people claim he's a Barry Allen fanboy, but the fact of the matter is that he did write some of Wally West's best stories, and it's not like he's the one who decided to bring Barry back.

I just wanna read the script. It sounds like exactly how I want a Flash film. Wally is the main Flash. Barry is dead but still a valued character.
I heard it was too dark which is funny since WB now wants Dark characters. But I wonder if its dark because Barry is dead or dark like James Cameron Spiderman dark

I also want to read the JLM script

It'd be cool if they mention batman as well.
Furthermore, it'd funny if they do some easter eggs, like mention something from the Nolan movies, the comics, etc. Here's one of my favourites in JL where they allude to the first episode of BTAS.

yea that is all i would hope for is that when a flash film does come way they treat and honnor the characters correctly. As for villains i agree at least for first film just stick to one villain so you can develop both the flash/supporting characters and who ever the villain is. Then in a sequel throw in maybe 2 foes that work together well.

only issue i have had for the flash tv show suit is that suit material was way to thick looking lol.

really? it looks like cheap cosplay.
But then again I didnt like the series that much either
