Actually, if they treat The Flash like how they treated the Superman suit (don't radically change it), then it should be fine. I think it's a nice looking suit, and like Superman, it's kinda pulpy that it can work..

He can fight with his actors, that's what he's famous for.
How about Michel Gondry? I would love to see what he could come up with to give the sense of speed.

I don't like the idea of Bradley Cooper as Barry. Because of other roles, I constantly see him as kind of a jerk. Also, he seems to be more of the straight man as opposed to the jokester, although that's not to say that things can't change. As for director, I'd love to see Edgar Wright or Michel Gondry get the part, because Gondry would add a very creative visual element to it, and Wright knows how to make an entertaining and fast-paced film as well as a good adaptation. Unfortunately though, I doubt either one would get the gig.

Cooper's role in Alias was the first I saw him in and is still how I mostly think of him, and he played a nice guy in the show, so no problem on that score for me. Also, the Flash usually isn't much of a jokester, and that's particularly true of Barry Allen. It must be people who draw their view of the Flash mostly from the Justice League animated show who see the character as more light and jokey.
