The Official "FOR GOD'S SAKE, SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME MAKE THIS HYPE RPG!!!!" Thread

I REALLY need help making a Hype RPG based on certain video-game characters. There WILL be continuity, and "ultimization" WILL be allowed and even mandatory for some characters. For those of you who think this will be too complicated, I assure you that even if it is, all I really require is that someone help me with the first page of the Sign up/OOC thread. After that, you don't even have to play and you will recieve credit and a heafty amount of gratitude for your services.

I could try and help out. I've always wanted a game RPG, my only problem being that while someone playing Solid Snake (namely me cause I'd want to be him) can produce some excellent posts, someone playing as Mario can't exactly put their stuff to the same standard.

I get were you going with this but he said certain character's and you never know some one could be that good.

That's what is gonna make this game so awesome. See, you are apparently a big fan of Solid Snake. Well someone whose fandom of Mario is equal to your fandom of Snake could produce an RP post that would rival your Snake post. Originally, I wasn't going to include Metal Gear characters in the RPG because they live in too real of a world, but I have decided that I will let them appear because I have an idea for them. But, the MGS characters MUST be "ultimized".

I started a OU type thing once where you could have characters from ANY comic, and that got shut down, so don't expect too much.

Wow... morbid encouragement of the year, Cyrusbales!

Captain N... you can wiki hm, but Captain N was an old cartoon where this kid from the NES generation got sucked into "Nintendo world" and teamed up with Simon Belmont, Megaman, Kid Icarus and other popular nintendo characters of the day to save various game worlds (one time they went to tetris city, another time to Hyrule, etc)

I thought it would be cool to take it from a slightly younger kid's perspective weilding the Wii wand or Wii-chucks to do an assortment of amazing things... and I knew link would be taken...

it's a lot more complex for an RPG compared to DC and Marvel, an independant comic book RPG would be good, with the Shadow and Hellboy etc.....

Well, ya see, I'm not going to restrict players' recreation of their character very much. They'll still have to keep to the basics (ie. Spidey became a hero when he learned that with great power, there must come great responsibility; Wolverine can't remember who the hell he is; Superman is an alien; etc). I think this may draw players to the game. They'll have a lot of room for creativity. And, since it's a manga, pretty much anything can happen.
