The launch has been full of issues all over the place. I thought we'd be past stuff like this in 2019 for a release with this kind of budget and prep-time. The underlying game seems awesome though. Once they finish patching everything it should be a great game. I've really enjoyed what I've played of campaign, vs and horde so far. Escape I would only play with 2 other people I know but that can also be fun.
It can be really difficult so it takes a lot of cooperation to get it done. Feels like an achievement when you make it lol. That said I can't see it coming close to campaign, horde and vs for me.
Haha, seems like a decent guy too. Last night got wrecked a few times in MP. Did better the day before. Seemed like some very good players yesterday on the other teams. With Horde we just need to play it more and figure out what's good. That's still only my 2nd match.

The Gears 5 campaign is great so far. My friends who've finished it loved it. 4 was a bit boring and Judgment was seen as easily the weakest in the series. 5 seems to be as good as the original games on the campaign front.
Sarah Connor looks great. She would make a great character to play as for a Terminator game.

Campaign so far is excellent. Seems way better than 4 at this point. Horde I need to play more. I like that it isn’t all about the base and turrets and sentries like Gears 4 was. Escape seems ok but I wouldn’t touch it without friends. And vs has been a lot of fun. Everybody starting with flash grenades is a joke, and you’re totally right, KotH with 10 flash grenades is utter stupidity lol.
I bet most of these will be from vs players who haven’t even touched campaign and are pissed off because of changes that don’t suit them. Also the launch was littered with technical issues (which is different to whether the game is good).

There’s been tonnes of bugs and issues on launch which is really annoying, but at least the underlying game is really good and a step up from 4. And this will probably become more apparent when they finally patch all this stuff.
Agreed on Exhibit too. It’s not my kind of map. And haha I’ve seen you die on the lasers a few times already.
Nice. Did you already finish the Gears 5 campaign? Gears 4 campaign was fine rather than great and I found the deebees to be boring enemies. I haven’t finished 5 yet but so far it is much better than 4. Quite different to the original trilogy though.
It’s a bit like Alien. I’m not sure yet how into it I’ll get but quite a few of my friends are playing it a lot so I’ll soon find out.
