True.

This is more than a game for me. I cant describe it. Iv never been this hyped/pumped for a piece of media in all my life.

I don't think so, the only one I could think of is that it shows Peck (aka Mr. Dickless), but I'm pretty sure we already knew he was there. Besides that I didn't catch any other spoiler worthy things in it

Awesome. Im just trying not to get a glimpse of any bosses or other ghouls that i havent already seen.

Nope, don't think there was anything like that in that video. At least none that I noticed anyway

Awesome. So ya decide which system ur gonna get it on? Like i said, if ya do go with the 360, iv got some of those 48 hour Live trial cards that you could have so you could try the game out online.

I actually haven't yet. I'm mostly unsure because my GamerTag was made because I had no real intention of playing online. It's my real name :(

It's looking like more like I want get it for the 360 to be honest. The only problem I possibly foresee is that I have it pre-ordered for the PS3 and the code to download the GBII suit may be system specific and that could be a problem

Haha, nice GT then man.

Yea, i havent a clue as to the code being system specific, but i think there is probably a good chance it will be. Im assuming itll work the way the challenge map did for Wolverine, with you going to the PSN/Marketplace to download it, unless its just an in game code.

But im sure GS would let you switch your preorder over, if you did decide to go with the 360 version. I mean guess it couldnt hurt to ask.

:csad:

Well, in my defense, when I made it I had no intention of going online. I just kind of punched it in without giving it much thought. I think it costs around 800 MS points to change too.

Yeah, switching the pre-order is by no means a problem. The problem for me is that the GS I pre-ordered from is a good hour long drive from where I'm at now. It's the closest one and in the town I go to school at, but I'm out for summer. I still go to that town every other week to pick up my comics and the GB release date is in one of those weeks, so it wouldn't have been out of the way to pick it up the day it was released.

So, yeah, that's kind of a hassle. And they won't let you switch it over the phone or anything.

Ahh yea, that is a pain.

Well, could you create a new silver account, with a diff GT, instead of changing the one you have now? Maybe thats a possibility.

I...actually hadn't thought of that. That may work. Now the only problem is the pre-order code. If that ends up being a problem I'll just to shallow it and get the PS3 version and grate my teeth through the whole 8 minute install time

Did you actually go online with your current GT, or did you just create a profile? Because if you never connected online then when you go and do that, you can choose a different GT...if I remember correctly.

I've been online to download stuff and I think that free month of Gold activated that all Xbox buyers get

If it makes ya feel any better, i plan on installing the game to my HDD before i play it, so ill be waiting for 10 minutes before i play as well, hah.

You can't then. Unless you pay.

Does it help a lot to install 360 games in the HDD?

With some games it does. There was a list at the Microsoft forums that mentioned on which games the install helped and in what way.

For the most part, yea. For starters the system is A LOT quieter, i mean my 360 will make less noise than my PS3 when a game is installed. Most of the time the load times are cut by a few seconds and there are some games, like Fable 2, where the load times are almost cut in half. If i had the space on my HDD, id install every game to it.

Ah, yes. I forgot about the 360 being a lot quieter when you install the games on the HDD. It's the same thing with mine. It's much better.

a 5gb install, bloody hell. guess i may have to upgrade my pse3's hard drive now damn it

IGN UK's review is up, overall score of 8.5

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/993/993505p1.html

8.5 Presentation
A little rough around the edges but Terminal Reality has totally nailed the spirit of the iconic series, in large part due to the involvement of the original Ghostbusting team.
8.5 Graphics
Diverse environments look great, as do the beautifully-designed spectres. Tearing and stilted animation on the humans let the side down though.
8.0 Sound
Classic orchestrations from the original movie run through, although they're spread thinly, and its great to hear Murray et al back in action - despite occasionally flat lines.
8.0 Gameplay
Whichever way you spin in, ghost bustin' and Proton Packing is immensely entertaining. More variety would be appreciated but at least the multiplayer gives giggles.
8.5 Lasting Appeal
It's about ten hours from front to end but multiplayer and a bevy of collectibles extend its lifespan and fans will probably want to sit through again regardless.

That graphics score is much closer to what I would give the game based on what we've seen in trailers and previews than the US review.

Awesome. Love that TR looks to be delivering us a great game. God i just want the 16th to be here already. We are so, so close.

Just read through the full review and it kind of sounds negative. Sounds a lot more of a negative slant than the US one. It also seemed to be reviewed by someone who wasn't really a fan, where as the US one seemed to definitely be a fan. Weird that it was the highest scoring of the two. Both are fine scores and all, just kind of odd that it ended up evening out that way
