Is there a way I can go back and replay levels or do I have to beat the game first? Because I missed one of the artifacts in the first visit in the hotel and I forgot to scan one of the ghosts in the library and I'm trying to get those achievements.

considering its rough publishing history....probably not....I give a 30 percent chance of any DLC

im so glad the developers made it region free (damn sony) If anyone wants a game add me : cizza19

I aint the best just yet though

Did they bring back the terror dogs in this game? Those things scared me everytime when I was a kid.

Yeah, but they ain't as scary. I was actually sad we didn't see the Scalary(sp?) Brothers make an appearance in a courtroom (though they used the effect in the library). I also was wondering when we went into the sewers if we would see the art deco pink-river of slime, but no. There weren't enough references to GB2. :( Actually, now that I think about it, considering the villain let all the ghosts out (that isn't too big of a spoiler) in the third act, I would have loved to fight Viggo again in the firehouse when you get back from the Island.

Oh well. I'm grateful for what we've got. I've noticed that on gaming sites GB fans or people 20 and up seem to love this game at the very least as a great 7-9 hour (depending on the difficulty) single-player campaign full of nostalgia and great writing. But many gamers a little younger just seem to ***** about it getting better praise than Prototype (the poor man's Infamous). I just have to say, THEY'RE MISSING OUT.

Are there any upgrades you guys refrain from buying in the game, just to make it more fun? I like to take off the aiming recticle and damage/earning counters, and never buy the focused stasis stream so the beam wanders on a target like it did in the movies.

The PS2 version sucks. Not only are there none of the unlockables, collectibles or easter eggs, but it keeps freezin' after almost an hour of continuous play. Kills what should be a fun game. I'm just glad Ecto-1 wasn't Ecto-1B.

Ecto-1B?

Yeah, I kind of want to rent the Wii version to see if it would be fun with the controls (which really seem built for a proton pack) but I heart the Wii/PS2 version is not worth a rental. :(

The Wii version isn't awful or anything, just a lot weaker then it should have been. It does seem like a big wasted opportunity but it's worth at least trying I think

So I just found out that if you've finished the game on experienced, you can't just replay from the last checkpoint on professional to get the trophy. It just wiped my game :( I only had 4 artifacts to get too!

How's the Multiplayer in this? What modes are there, are there any missions you can play together?

All the modes pretty much have you working together, even when you're competing.

It's like Gears' horde mode. In all the game types, minus Slimer Dunk, you are working together while at the same time accumulating personal stats that will rank the players in that match. The better u work with others, the more points u rack up. There are 6 game types in all.

Surrvival has u trying to surrvive 10 waves of varying ghouls.

Thief has you protecting artifacts that ghosts try to steal

Protection has you protecting a PKE disruptor that the ghosts try to destroy

Destruction has you destroying ghostly artifacts that spawn different ghosts

Containment sees has you capture as many ghosts as you can within the time limit

Slimer Dunk has u competeing with other players to see who can capture the most Slimers

it would be cool if the DLC was the other Ghostbusters from the cartoon

is there going to be DLC?? I haven't heard anything...didn't think there would be considering the whole mess with Activision

Well the cartoon isn't canon which is why the devs didn't add any skins in the game or why they didn't do the wii in that style.

I don't think Activision has anything to do with it anymore, I think it's all up to the devs now

Thanks for the Multiplayer info Pat.

Btw, are the dark blue suits in the game too?

.

yea I can agree with that but we never went into that sewer system in this game. The deco u are talking about was the old transit system that ran under New York, we didn't go under New York in this game.

With you on the Scoleri Bros tho, wish they woulda showed up in mp or something

yea I cut off all of the assists immediatly. Really helped intensify the experience IMO. Iv never not purchased all the upgrades tho, I'll do that in my next play through

yea the Gray flightsuit is in the game if u got the preorder bonus from gamestop but an extremely similar suit is the final suit u unlock in ranked MP

Grey? Ok, thought it was dark blue, almost black. But then again, I haven't watched the Movies in a while. But Pre-order bonus? This stuff starts to really annoy me.
