They're sitting on a HUGE goldmine here, and for once they've actually got a quality crew. Sucks this still isn't in production yet.

I always thought of Halo as a Space Fantasy like Star Wars or Starship Troopers but seeing these gritty shorts makes me think it can work as a serious war flick like Saving Private Ryan or something.

I know that it is in production hell right now but I can guarantee you that Bungie and Microsoft are making these to not only advertise for Halo 3...but to show execs what this movie could actually be.
