Tobey and everyone else returning.

The Lizard in the beginning, turning back to Conners early on to become Peter's confidant and to help Aunt May because she's sick.

Adrian Toomes sabotages Conner's experiment when they were competing for a grant, becomes the Vulture after he kills the dean who fires him for Conner's disappearance (he was suspected, never any proof), then Toomes just starts robbing banks.

Kraven shows up in New York on Jonah's dime, claims he will capture the Lizard, gets humiliated by Spidey, turns his attention on him, after one more failure he plans his greatest hunt, then drugs and buries Spidey alive. He goes out and captures the Vulture (one thing Spidey couldn't do) to prove he is superior.

Spidey breaks out and almost kills Kraven (having to subdue the animal within his own self) but has to chase after the Vulture who Kraven let go, and he saves a kidnapped J. Jonah Jameson after Vulture almost kills him claiming that his paper revealing that Vulture was Toomes ruined his career.

Spidey breaks up with MJ in the beginning, later goes out with Gwen, but still has strong feelings for MJ.

The Twist at the end: Kraven is about to shoot himself, and you hear a gunshot from his mansion window as Spidey webs away to save Jonah. But when you come back to Kraven, he was shooting at something else in the shadows: Norman Osborn comes back from the "dead", really from hiding out in Europe since his "death" and planning a bunch of crap to destroy Spider-Man. Osborn offers Kraven more of the performance enhancers he got in Africa ("witch doctor potions" that Osborn based his own enhancers on) and tells him he has a plan. (Sinister Six)

THAT is exactly what I want.

And that would be great if the movie was called "Lizard, Vulture, and Kraven."

Story : Spiderman's life has become as complicated as ever as Mary Jane lands the lead role in a hollywood slasher film that could spring board her career. MJ and Peter lives have gone in seperate directions as they aren't together but still love each other. Peter has gone on a series of failed dates usually due to his Spiderman duties and his lingering love for MJ. Peter still wants to marry her but at the same time feels it's her time to shine and doesn't want to hold her back. In the midst of this Aunt May's health has gotton worse and Peter isn't making enough money to pay her medical bills.

In the midst of all this Peter has to save his friend and mentor Kurt Connors as he rampages through the city as the Lizard . Peter is Billy Connors math tutor and a sort of Big Brother figuare as Billy reminds Peter of him at 12. Peter is working on a cure furiously with Connors Lab assistant Debbie Whitman based on Connors notes . After unsuccessful attempts by the police to Capture the rumored Lizard creature of Manhattan , World famous Hunter Kraven comes to New York and offers his service and resources. It becomes a race against time to see who can get to the Lizard first Spiderman or the Hunter. As the hunt begins Spiderman begins to realize Kraven is much more then meets the eye. Spiderman soon begins to realize he is the Hunted.

You have THREE villains, who all require origins, you sure you want that?

I think TWO villains, which is their plan, is enough.

Yeah, I wanted just two villains, Kraven and Lizard, until I heard that they wanted Sir Ben Kingsley to play Adrian Toomes, the Vulture.

I thought that was freaking brilliant and came up with a way to include all three, not at the same time.

The Lizard would be awesome, but he's not really a "final villain" to me, so have him turn in the first ten, and then have Peter save him and turn back in the first 30-45 minutes. I think that having Doc Conners go back to being human and have to deal with the monster within for the rest of the movie is really interesting. He would appreciate his wife and son more, and there would be some funny scenes invloving him and Peter because he knows he's Spidey, he could cut him some slack for being late to class.

Kraven needs no origin, just a news blurb of about five minutes of footage of him racing a cheetah, wrestling a rhino, fighting a bear, etc. Later it would be revealed he got ahold of "witch doctor potions" in Africa which explains his strength. He could also talk about his father abusing him or his mother being crazy (like in Kraven's last hunt.)

And finally, the Vulture is the most "fleshed-out" origin as it arcs over the course of the movie. He sabotages Conners because he knows he's gonna win the grant. His electromagnetic flying suit is impressive, but not really helpful, and too expensive, and way more shallow than Conners trying to grow back human limbs. After Conners disappears from being Lizard, Toomes is fired on suspicion because he's a shady guy. He kills the guy who fired him and then robs some banks straight up for his money. He takes the place of Vermin in the Kraven's Last Hunt storyline, so Kraven can capture him and let him go at the end.

All of this would be half of the two and a half hour movie, the other half would be Pete dealing with MJ and breaking up, dealing with Aunt May getting sick and giving her an emergency blood transfusion which makes her fall into a coma, dealing with Conners and trying to find a way to cure him, soon going out with Gwen after they get to know one another, having Conners find out his secret identity and have him help Aunt May, and then finally dealing with Kraven's obsession and being burried alive, which he escapes only to say "I love you, MJ" when he emerges.

The only reason I want three villains, is becasue Lizard would be out of the way soon and then free to help Aunt May who should get sick. And I think that Ben Kingsley as Vulture would be the next Molina performance and deserves a really strong character.

Give Kingsley his own movie then. Topher Grace is a good actor too, didn't stop his character from sucking up Spider-Man 3 due to too many villains.

I'd love it if Kingsley had his own movie, but I think it will kind of feel like the stakes aren't high enough, it wouldn't be epic enough. The movies have gotten sort of bigger and bigger, and even though 3 had story problems, it still felt like the worst crap yet to happen to Pete.

Kingsley featured prominently with Gerard Butler as Kraven and Dylan Baker as Lizard, then have Kingsley come back in part 5 as one of Norman Osborn's personal scientist, who upgrades the Green Goblin's suit, and then in part 6 again as the Vulture, complete with an awesome new black and red costume, ready to rip Spidey's throat out.

I do like Shocker, but he's got nothing to do w/ the Lizard.

With Kraven, we basically get a free-for-all. Spidey vs. Lizard. Kraven's hunting the Lizard, so at the same time Spidey has to save the Lizard from Kraven.
It'd be pretty fun. I think it's a better dynamic than having Shocker as a guard.

And introduce Felicia, certainly. Might be a little heavy to include the Cat though. The Spider-Man comics have a lot of characters. I think it's alright to have a lot on the sidelines, but you can't have too many super-powered people at once. Not until a fairly massive finale, anyway.

That wouldn't work, sorry. Norman Osborn is dead, if you wanted to make this film it would be better off if they had it transcripted to a Direct-to-DVD release in animated form which has nothing to do with the plot of any current or future Spider-Man films. This could never happen... just as long as Joel Schumacher stays away! Now, I honestly don't want to sound mean or anything but Green Goblin was in the film(Spider-Man), he made his time, and now he's dead. Let it go. But, what I do think you're getting at is Harry seeing his father in the mirror, well I think they based that off of him being a drunken idiot throughout the 2nd film and he saw his father after he witnessed the flashbacks happen in the 3rd film. But as you can see it is a very confusing subject as it is so just please, don't bring Norman back... EVER!

We didn't get Eddie Brock begging for forgiveness from God because he was about to commit suicide, but at least there was a church. So hopefully, there will be the "insane" element present in a Kraven portrayal. He needs to drug Spidey and then make a demented Spidey-suit knock off with the stitching all random and it doesn't fit and then he puts it on like a serial killer with victim's skin and then goes out and saves MJ, but scares the crap outta her, and then captures Vulture pretty viciously.

Though, they did team up in that mini-series "Get Kraven", where Kraven's son tries his hand in Hollywood.

That was all comedy though. It wouldn't work for a Spidey film.

I just don't see how Vulture works anywhere in a Lizard Kraven story...

Exaclty, I think he would work better with either Mysterio, Electro, or Scorpion.

plot: connors becomes the lizard, kraven who just came to the city to promote his reality Tv show decides to hunt the mysterious creature in the sewers, spider-man defends the lizard and stopped kaven from nearly killing the creature, kraven switch his hunt towards spidey who during the course of the film tries to help connors regain his human form and thus his memory and of course tries not to be defeated by both the lizard and kraven.

Shocker should be shown in the first act of the movie trying to rob a bank and spidey easily defeats him.

Mary jane breaks up with peter and moves to hollywood for a career in movies or modelling or whatever. Peter starts dating Gwen.

Adrian toomes is a rich industrualist and scientist who wants to capture the lizard for studying it. Toomes should not become the vulture but just hint at it at the end of the movie maybe by him recovering osborn's glyder or something. Maybe have Toomes send the enforcers after the lizard, this should be a small act in the whole movie, enforers wouldnt need any origin story just a mob for hire kind of thing.

-STORY-

Several years have passed since the passing of Peter's best friend Harry Osborn and life has continued on, but not without its difficulty. With the public's opinion of the webslinger now at an all-time-low following his usage of the alien symbiote, Peter Parker faces the many hardships of piecing his life back together again.

To further complicate our young hero's troubled life is Dr. Curt Connors who, after injecting himself with an experimental serum, is transformed into the terrifyingly dangerous Lizard. Now torn between his personal obligation to his professor and mentor and his duties as the city's protector, Peter must choose what is right. And when he tries to help his fallen friend, Spider-Man becomes Public Enemy #1.

To aid in the crusade against Spider-Man is Maxwell Dillon. Gifted with the powers of electricity after an accident involving power lines, Dillon seeks to make a name for himself and find glory by killing Spider-Man. Called by the press as Electro, his actions (along with the Lizard's) throws the city into a storm of fear and terror.

Facing his greatest challenges yet, Peter must learn how to rise from his defeats and become the hero he was born to be. With his fiance Mary Jane by his side, he will fight for his own life and for the lives of every person in New York.

Becoming consumed by his work, Dr. Connors has isolated himself from his family. When he is transformed into the Lizard, his problems escalate as he begins to lose his humanity. Fearing his slip into complete insanity, Connors battles his demons inside and fights the Lizard persona from harming not only his family but the people of NYC.

- MAXWELL DILLON / ELECTRO
Maxwell Dillon has had a hard life and it seems to just keep getting worse. When he obtains uncharted powers, he sees an opportunity to seek glory and power that was denied to him his entire life. Hoping to prove everyone in his life wrong, Electro targets Spider-Man in a twisted hope of becoming NYC's new favorite hero.

Have Adrian Toomes as the Vulture fighting spidey,then have Adrian Toomes wake up in a cold sweat screaming.Then have a guard come running up to his cell and asks him why he is screaming.

Have Adrian Toomes saying to the guard,I don't know,I can't remember.(Adrian Toomes suffers from alzheimers)

Then cut to Peter in a white lab coat with goggles on as he is helping Dr.Connors with an experiment.Show how Peter is helping Dr.Connors to find a way for humans to regrow lost limbs through lizard DNA and the sample of symbiote mixed with each other.

Have Dr.Connors son Billy come running into the room yelling,excited to see his dad.Dr.Connors wife comes walking into the room a few seconds later.Dr.Connors is distracted by all the commotion that he puts the vial down on a nearby surface without even thinking about it.

When Dr.Connors and his wife are having a conversation with Peter,Billy is distracted as he is hypnotized by the moving sample that is in the vial on the countertop.Billy picks it up and plays with it.Billy drops it and the vial cracks.Billy in a panic quickly puts it back.

Dr.Connors and his wife say to Peter how they are looking forward to seeing Peter and MJ over at their house for dinner that night.Dr.Connors tells his wife to go ahead and take Billy home,because him and Peter have to finish up with a few more things.

Dr.Connor's wife and his son Billy leaves.Then Dr.Connors and Peter take the vial and puts it into a syringe gun and are about to inject the vial of lizard DNA mixed with the symbiote into a mouse that is missing one arm.

When Dr.Connors is holding the syringe gun,the symbiote with lizard DNA in it tries to escape the vial through the crack that is in it.As the symbiote is crawling out of the vial,the symbiote crawls over the trigger to the syringe gun,and the symbiote is sucked back into the vial like a vacuum and is shot out of the syringe like a human cannonball and ends up going into Dr.Connors body.

Dr.Connors and Peter realize what has happened and are very worried.Then right away,right before their eyes,Dr.Connors regrows his missing arm.Dr.Connors is very happy,he knew it would work even before they were gonna inject it into the mouse.

As Peter is trying to think of side effects,Dr.Connors quickly dissmisses all of them,because he is too excited from the results.

Then show Adrian Toomes being released from prison for good behavior,and his lawyer convincing the parole board that he is no longer the person that he was when he first arrived at prison.

At Dr.Connors house you see them at the dinner table where the only subject that is being discussed is the success of regrowing the limb.

Talking about all the people life's this miracle is gonna bring to them.Then when Dr.Connors wife,son Billy,and MJ are in the kitchen to get the dessert when Dr.Connors arm turns green and scaly.

Then Dr.Connors turns into the Lizard and throws the dining table across the room with a roar.As the table hits the openening to the kitchen,Peter shoots a web to make the table block the openening to keep Mrs.Connors,Billy,and MJ out of danger.

Peter fights the Lizard in the Dr.'s penthouse,through the front doors,down the hallway,into the elevator,in the lobby where Peter puts his spidey mask on where we see the spidey costume underneath Peter's torn street clothes.

The fight ends up outside on the streets until the Lizard hits spidey with his tail sending spidey to go crashing into a hot dog cart.

The Lizard is seen going into the sewers.(Then have Kraven show up,etc,etc,etc,Kraven fights the Lizard,Kraven fights spidey,the three fight each other,the whole Kraven's Last Hunt story).

Then at night show Adrian Toomes being shown the ropes inside a museum as he is now a security guard being trained for his first night (grave yard shift).

Then show him sitting at the guard's desk reading a paperback as an alarm goes off.Adrian Toomes the only guard on duty makes his way over to check it out.Show a thug in a yellow type of ski mask (Shocker) blast Adrian in the face with his arm mounted blasters.

And when Adrian is on the floor hurt his mind starts spinning,so many images go flashing in his mind like a slot machine.Then spidey shows up and spidey and the Shocker have a little fight at the museum.

During the fight spidey is next to a stuffed Vulture that is hanging from a wire that is anchored to the ceiling.The Shocker blasts part of the ceiling that has the anchore to it,and the stuffed creature swings through the air and crashes into spidey.

And right when Adrian sees this,his mind stops spinning for now he remembers everything.Apparently the blasters can cure alzheimers.

Then towards the end of the movie when you think it's gonna be a happy ending since spidey has defeated the Lizard & Kraven and spidey is web swinging like at the end of the first two movies,the Vulture slams into him,and we see a battle take place.

Spider-Man 4 should go in a different direction, since Peter is in college and into genetics they should introduce the Neogenetics storyline, the effects of the spider-bite, along with Dr. Connors/Lizard and introduce Morbius and Felicia Hardy/BlackCat...it'll make a good love story taking the focus off of Peter/Mary Jane since they already had 3 movies...

the beginning should open w/Spidey fighting Schocker the one thing these movies lacked is showin his rogue's gallery/cameos, not every villain needs a story...

I jus thought of a plot. Peter is hins senior yr. college and is going for an internship competing w/ Micheal Morbius, Debra Whitman, n others to work w/Dr. Connors the internship deals with neogenetics mixing human dna w/ animal...the Hardy's are funding his experiments/projects introducing Felicia...Connors experiments w/Lizard DNA turnin n2 the Lizard, Morbius steals Peter's actual DNA n is turned n2 a vampire by a bat that got in the way...Felicial learns the truth about Morbius(her boyfriend), wants 2 help him n mixes her DNA with that of cat thus givin birth to Black Cat...they team up n take down Lizard n Morbius...

A simple storyline for me, please. I'd like to see them focus more among the character's relationships, friendships, etc. rather then focusing more among a complex storyline.
