They look the same to me. Of course I don't go over the films with a fine tooth comb. Maybe if I did I'd spot some noticable flaws. But considering films aren't meant to be seen that way anyway there's no point in doing that.

Ledger's performance was great. Not junk.

And Marvel isn't copying. Kingsley is evoking.

Love the trailer. Definitely looks like it will be my favorite Iron Man movie (I liked Iron Man 1, but didn't love it like many)

Black seems to have a much greater, more striking visual sense than Favreau and we know he has the darker humor and quips locked down.

Of course I'm serious. It's not far-fetched to think he's evoking Ledger's performance in The Dark Knight. I'm guessing a lot of actors took inspiration after his death. Particularly ones starring in superhero flicks.

Ok I didn't want to get involved, but I will just say this. Speeches like this from your main villain are going to invoke The Joker for some. It is the same with Cumberbatch in the Star Trek trailers, same with Silva in Skyfall. Not that it is a bad thing, but it just does.
