I have to admit it does bear some resemblance to George Reeves.

Apparently he wasn't testing for that part.

The whole "scoop" about him, DJ Cotrona and Minka Kelly being all set for Supes, Bats and WW respectively was apparently misinformation, and started with emijayne over at countingdown.com.

Emijayne was wrong about this and admitted to it a couple of posts later. But I guess the damage was already done.

Anyhoo, she's not sure what parts they tested for, but they're definitely NOT gonna be the big three. (That is as of 17-Oct-07, 10:00 am EST)

Here are some of the JLA members in costumes I'd like to see them in:

Batman should look more like the comic, although I know its hard to do that and not make him look silly.
So I think they should have body armor like in Begins but cover that with gray spandex like material (stretched over the armor, with it sort of visible throught the spandex). Maybe even have a few scenes where his costume gets torn or really ripped up and you can see the armor under the suit.

Or maybe even make it a blackish blue, that shines blue to be like that comic book outfit:

Wonder Woman doesn't need much changing, just make her costume look more like Roman armor, maybe even have her use Roman and Greek type weapons (designed to look that time period too):

Green Lantern should look like his classic costume, a sort of space cop uniform. It should look alien and out there, sort of futuristic but also seemless and no wrinkles because its his second skin (made from his imagination.)

WEll this is my first manip about Taylor Cole as Wonder Woman I know is not so perfect but is cool

Wonder Woman doesn't need much changing, just make her costume look more like Roman armor, maybe even have her use Roman and Greek type weapons (designed to look that time period too):

Is this a manip of a Ross pic or a legit one? Because if the movies just had to go the armored skirt route I could totally dig this design as an alternative to the classic suit. It's got all the right elements with just a little tweaking.

Wow, thanks. Its actually a manipulation of an Alex Ross Wonder Woman. I just added the dress, the brest plate, and made her wrist bands bigger. Glad you liked it. It is how I think she should look for the movie, more like armor or armor inspired.

I am glad you liked tha idea, I had forgotten about that cover though. What I was thinking of when I mentioned that was the Jim Lee Batman sketches he did for Wizard (while working on Hush). (Jim Lee was talking about how Batman must use armor and he was showing how it would look.)


I was also thinking how cool it would look to show something like this, and see the armor revealed under the rips.

It was more torn up in my memmory.

but seriously, that was a good shot to manip, her face looks amazing, her hair could be more amazonish instead of flatironed, but still .

Damn dude. I thought that was just a Ross painting I'd not seen before.
