it's kinda funny, cause, I always thought, the other way around
That most of those who don’t like him for supe, are just tired of him from Smallville, or don’t like Smallville
I think, as a fresh face, unknown, or tv actor, (whever he would be doing, if he never did Smallville, fans would be all over him as supes

I mean, I think almost every an any, 6'3" dark hair, blue(or bluish green) eyed, actor, in the 25-35 age range, has been considered, (by fans atleast) at one point

Routh can act, Singer just can't direct a movie about a character he doesn't pay attention too and off a script that was written by two guys who have never picked up a comic book in there life. Blame Singer, keep Routh. (But SR was beautiful, the plot may have sucked but it looked fabulous.)

Brandon Routh made a Great Superman. Whitout the need of bee a Christopher Reeves Ripoff, he can be even better.

I dunno, there was nothing about Routh that was great IMO. He was boring (and I know a lot of that had to do with the script and the director) and had no presence. When he was on screen, I didn't think "wow, that's Superman". However, I do think "wow, that's Superman" every Thursday night when I see Tom Welling lift a truck or save someone, he doesn't even need the uniform for me to feel that.
