Hey Stagger, one more ref. pic for yah. I used this one for my test the other day.

and clownprince, nice job with the nurse costume. and found this with a quick google search... http://www.stickerkings.com/dark-knight-stickers/cat_15.html

Thanks for the site!!, I was hoping to find a local shop that does them, with my first "appearance" being Thursday :)

no problem! and yeah its been tight for me too, i had to get some telesis yesterday shipped via express since everything is only days away now. on another note, that ben nye fire red i ordered a while ago is f***in small!! I had to order some more. luckily, as small as it is, it should last me friday and saturday.

Hey Clownprince, depending on how tight time may be, you could pick up some sticker paper at Staples or whatnot and print it out at home. That's what I did.

You'll love the telesis. You won't be disappointed :) And I know what you mean, but not by that brand. I ordered the Maybelline Passion Red from the UK since it's near impossible to find in the US. And I ordered a Super Stay Color also since its already in liquid form. Little did I know it would be like .04 oz of liquid to work with lol. Was kind of annoyed with that since it cost me $30, but I cut back to use that with my thin brushes to get into those smaller cracks for the make-up and just keep the lipstick for the lips and larger scar areas.

Also, that is a great reference pic to use. It's actually the same one I planned to use for my make-up since I'm going "Group Therapy Scene" Joker :P

Yea i can't wait to test the telesis. lol, since i'm testing it with the "lip" gelatin scar that i won't be using, i'm gonna have half a lip on the side of my mouth to get the feel of how the actual scars will be next to my mouth. Should be an interesting site!

I paid btwn $20-$30 for the make-up since the pic online had no reference next to it. and then i get this little "thing" no wider than the top of a soda can and no higher than two stacked celebration iv medallions (lmao, Jodo, i hope you're reading this!), which is also equivalent to 3 quarters stacked for any non-SW fans!

As for the pic, I actually may have picked up that picture here a while back. I started making a folder about a month ago with just reference pics and such. best decision i've made in a while since it gives you so many options once you've acquired some good, large HQ photos of different scenes. plus reference for the most accurate vests, buttons, blazers, etc. and that one specifically is up there with my favorites!

also a question on the trauma fx scars...they are sort of a bit## to put on. Some of the edges are folding under real bad. any tips?

It's all how you go about putting them on. You should be able to find a good tutorial on applying prosthesis on youtube.

are prosthesis better than rigid collodion or is it all a matter of preference?

Definitely preference. I prefer prosthesis over rigid collodion, as others are opposite. It's all a matter of time and creativity when using collodion, and based around blending for a prosthetic I would say.

I would prefer prosthesis over rigid collodion but Im broke and it's too late to order any now anyways so I'm using rigid collodion and mehron 3d-gel to give the desired raise look
we shall see ho it turns out more worried about my costume getting here then makeup.

I'd opt for using liquid latex more than the 3D-Gel. I thought I would give the 3D gel a go myself, but it will start to peel away like no-ones business once you start talking and smiling. Thankfully the costume shop I get all my make-up from allows you to play with the stuff before you actually buy it. So yes, liquid latex over 3D-gel. Ben Nye Liquid Latex is AWESOME, so I recommend that over the cheap crap you can pick up in a tiny bottle for $2.99

where can I get the dent sticker made, is that something kinko's does?

On a serious note, what SA material did you use to...stuff your bra? :hehe: Seriously it looks great, as far as the sticker goes, get some label paper, and create your own sticker template. Just get the image and follow the template instructions that come with your label paper. Remember to get the right size label paper!

Clownprice, very nice dude! :D We've got the same pen lights, lol. Keli has a real nice Dent sticker I use. However I had to find some of my old sticker paper in the basement, because friggen' Wal-Mart doesn't stock it anymore.

Did you add the pink trim yourself, or did you find a place that stocked a zipper front one with pink trim?

Thanks Jodo, I'm going to try staples today at lunch, hopefully they have that sticker paper that's all the rage in gotham!

The nurse outfit truly came as is, except the accessories of course. I got it from eBay, a little pricey but so worth it.

The pen light is a tad too big for the pocket but I find while I'm wearing it my "muscular" chest keeps it from falling out :D.

Thanks for the tips BBJ!

to answer your question... a very muscular chest LOL!

My costume is now on the back of my door and ready to wear... although I think the coat could use another roll in the dirt and baby powder! LOL

New additions this year... everything but the vest, coat and socks!

I've got a few things to do today, but after this dude gets out of school I'm gonna help him with make-up today. I hope he picked up evrything I told him to. I'm only gonna help him the once! :p :funny: Oh, frak me...I wanted to mention this because it struck me funny....I was telling him and his mom about the shirt. No one knew what a hexagon was. :funny:
