nah, I jammed some material into the ring end. Works for me.

well I got some of my weathering done to tired to think straight right now weathered the jacket not much but a lil I used dirt from a truck that came in for a all 4 tire replace more like gravel and dust should be good gonna do more tomorrow night when I can stop falling asleep at my computer lol

I had a 6 inch lock blade somewhere, but no idea where it is. I could use that since it had a loop for a chain to connect, but again, no idea... it's been years. I just connected each end of my chain to a key cuff and attach them to the braces. If I can somehow find that knife, or anyone similar then I'll attach it.

Oh by the way... I'm having a hell of a time flattening out this vest around the pockets and lapels. Anyone else having this issue? Any pointers? Running very short on time to get this ready by tomorrow and the damn pockets still have some dampness from the dye, lol.

i have a great knife given to me by an old flame from years ago thats attached to my chain. engraved message in polish on it, its sentimental. couldn't have a better option.

ya Shawsie, mud. i found a great mud pile on a country road, filled a bucket full of "clean mud". i put it into a bowl, pour some water into it, make it into a clay. then i dab it on with my finger. then i dry it almost instantly with a hair dryer. then i take my foam sanding block and scrub it into whatever design i want. it gets right into the fibres of the material. as a dust but it stays. old and worn look without looking obvious. love being filthy.

P-Hizzle,...... trouble ironing your vest? why isn't it dry yet? i have the iron on steam and just flatten the hell outta it. but being mindful of the lapel desgin and how they fold. the inside lapel being a shorter fold then the outside.... show me tomorrow.

i see. good luck with the weathering, i'm sure that you can get most of it done by tomorrow, if not all. and worst comes to worst, if you don't finish, it'll still look great even with a bit of weathering, at least to most everyone outside this forum! lol. Yeah, Woodstro's pants are the Mueller ones. And today begins! Off to take my kid to school and grab some breakfast then the weathering will start back up... joy! lol.

I'm thinking once I get a Mule/Indy's pants and suspenders the chain will come in handy to make sure I don't loose my personal effects,etc. Last year I kept them in a coat pocket, but it'd make sence to be on the chain. Either way, anything heavy enough to keep it in your pocket would work!

Well good news, bad news for me.

Good news is a pair of purple pinstriped pants I picked up from London on EBay made it's way across the pond and is finally in my hands. The color is a little darker then SA IMO (more plum, then violet), but they should do very nicely for my non SA joker. It was crazy how hard it was to find a pair, even looking at woman's clothing.

Bad news is I ordered a joker Hexagon shirt (Cosplay version) off Ebay from San Fran with a guarantee that it would arrive before Oct 31st. Seller said it shipped USPS Priority on Oct 22nd, but after not getting it, and contacting the seller, it appears the post office put the thing under the counter and forgot to ship it. Or so he says...

I'm wondering if the guy doesn't have his shipment that he expected, and is just leading us all on and shipping whenever (after Halloween)... Anyways, he said they got it sorted out yesterday and shipped in the am (even though USPS tracking says otherwise), so here's hoping that 3 day priority gets here Fri / Sat morning.

Since I might not get my shirt ($70 bucks too!), any recommendations for a good blue / dark blue dress shirt replacement for a non SA joker? I'm going to have to run backup it seems.

I deal on ebay buying and selling. If he mailed USPS, they have an explanation, period. If you paid by paypal, he probably shipped by printing out a paypal label. If that is the case, there is a tracking number waiting for you. If he says he mailed it, he should have a receipt from the post office he mailed it from.

Ok, that message means he printed out a shipping label and the package number was put into the system. It may have not been picked up and he lied about mailing it, but the tracking number does state that it was put into the system. This could also mean he printed the label but may not have the item, that could be the reason. But don't think that. As of right now you just have to wait, but if nothing then contact paypal and ebay after 10 business days and you should be able to file a claim to get a refund.

Yeah, pretty much thought that. It's tough to say, because It could either be the post office, or the seller. I've used and tracked mail through USPS before, and they're damn good at tracking, so that's why I'm inclined to believe he's not telling the whole truth. Then again, if the worker never put the number into the system (since it was prepaid), it would never get updated...

Ahh well. Guess it's over to marshals to find a joker suitable replacement just in case. Hope they got something with some flair that he would conceivably use.

I can say from experience that just because the tracking # says what you quoted it as saying, that doesn't mean it was shipped that day. It's just the day that the seller attached a 'tracking' number to the package either by attaching it to your package via PAYPAL or after buying their shipping label through USPS. I just ordered something on October 22, got the same message you did about my item being 'shipped' on the 23 and the item in question wasn't actually shipped until the 27th and I just received it today. It's just a tactic some sellers use to make you think they shipped your item when in fact they have not because they didn't actually have it in stock or they're just screwing around. Once that message says that it was processed at a sorting facility, THEN you'll know it was actually shipped.

I didn't get my gloves yet either, so costume contest may be out for tonight. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
