I kind of like the longer haired Sinestro. Now that I think about it, you sort of need the goatee with the mustache. A single mustache these days won't cut it (no pun intended)

So he's going Tony Stark on us? What's wrong with just a 'stache? I see loads of people who wear them everyday. The mullet on the other hand......eh, just reminds me of Joe Dirt.

With that goatee and mullet, Sinestro kinda looks like he's been taking his styling cues from Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat : Conquest. Hell, I even see a little of the Mandarin and Ming the Merciless there too.

I like the hair to be honest, but I'd probably like it just as much if it was a regular 'short back and sides' job too.

it is a cool concept look. Totally cant wait to see the real suit on the actors once those images hit man its going to be crazy.

Seeing these individual costumes for each GL, I can't wait to see Hal's costume.

But who knows? This is just concept art. We don't know if this is the final thing. I'd be happy if it was though.

Mark Strong is one busy dude. His in another film coming out this year.
Roman movie The Eagle of the Ninth which stars Channing Tatum, Jaime Bell, Donald Sutherland and Strong directed by Last King Of Scotland director Kevin McDonald.


Already another Romans in Britain movie coming out this year. Centurion by Neil Marshall (Decent, Doomsday & Dog Soldiers).

This is great news! I've been following Mark Strong since he had a small role in Tristan and Isolde. Class, charm, can kick ass. And I suspect he will have better chemistry with Reynolds than Jackie Earle Haley.

i wonder how his schedule is, since he's still filming John Carter of Mars.

If i'm not mistaken, I thought he said he'll be shooting till May, but Green Lantern starts in March. Perhaps, he will start a little bit later in May?

Well, Disney started pricipal photography on "John Carter of Mars" more than a month ago. I have seen films like "Iron Man" take 4 months to film (although Samuel Jackson's role took less time). The fact that Geoff Johns conmmented on Strong though makes me presume that he is ready for his role as Sinestro and may already be in New Orleans as we speak.

Watching him in RocknRolla is makes me confident he can play a great Sinestro. His stature is pretty intimidating as well.

I wonder what his voice will be like. I've never thought of Sinestro as having a deep voice, but that's just me. But Strong has a very strong London accent, which will be jarring coming from an alien.
