The idea of a teen X-Men movie in the late 2020s to early 2030s... God, that would really make me feel my current age when those movies come out.

We are …old now.

Maybe if they cast 95 year olds we can feel the blood flowing in our veins once more.

I think it makes sense for the same reason introducing Peter Parker as a teen in the MCU made sense.

An adult, experienced Spider-Man... you'd be wondering "where was he during the battle of New York? You mean Spider-Man has existed for years in this universe and no one said anything?"

I think just having mutants becoming public knowledge or about to become public knowledge, and the X-Men being newly formed, makes a lot of sense. And it reflects the comics where characters like the original 5 were introduced as teens.

that rumored actor for Cyclops...... not sure about that. He doesnt seem like the best option out there. Doesnt look imposing enough for such an important character, specially Cyclops who should be the leader and become a star after the reboot premieres.

interestingly, for some reason he seems the type of actor Marvel would sign.
Taking a look at his pictures, instagram and personality he seems to have, he gives me Christ Pratt vibes

and he comes from Avatar 2, so taking all into account (age, tall, gym guy, goofy/playful personality).... Im afraid he seems a strong candidate for Marvel Studios.

I was gonna say Power Rangers in my last post but now you've mentioned it, the casting rumours does feel like Lionsgate's Power Rangers. Thankfully, Marvel Studios would be preoccupied with Avengers when they start filming those 2 films that I hope none of these names (Sadie as Jean, Jack/Harris as Cyclops) make it to the X-Men reboot.

Well to be fair most of these rumoured actors would be in their mid 20s to late 20s by the time Marvel Studios' X-Men hit theaters. Its not going to be released in 2027 especially if the Russo Brothers are helming it.

There's just no big star energy so far. I don't care about Stranger Things, haven't seen it, and I feel ambivalent when someone from that show appears in new blockbuster movies.

Big stars cost money, and Marvel wants these actors for the long haul. That is why they are casting them young. Its the 2016 Tom Holland model.
