The Official Nandos Appreciation Thread!

Howdy.

Anyone here apart from me got a hard on for Nandos?

I thought I would make this thread to celebrate the delicious food of the Nandos chain and also discuss menu favourites (please specify heat level of chicken) and exchange fun story’s of things that have happened which include or relate to Nandos.

So anyway I will start.
My fav meal, and the one that I order 90% time (I say fav but I have not really explored the menu that much) is half chicken- hot, w/ two sides of corn. Plus usually olives for starters. I tried the red peppers once they were ok, but I have never tried the nuts.
Also interestingly I have never tried any other heat than hot.
For a drink I usually buy a fruit juice, but then naughtily I go refill the cup at the soda dispenser, hee.

I love how when you start eating the chicken (if you get it at hot) it is kinda stingy but by the time you finish your lips just kinda hum.

Tonight after work my gf brought a Nandos bk w/ her, she got me the chicken in pitta w/ a side of corn plus olives to share.
She had the same then she went out.

My greatest ever Nandos achievement was eating a whole chicken hot, plus chips.

My mouth waters whenever someone mentions Nandos! For me it has to be chicken in pitta with chips, I sometimes I rice but it tastes like packet rice! I like mine medium with a side sauce of Wild Herb. Nandos opened here about two years ago (Cardiff) and I was so glad. Hated waiting on weekends to Birmingham and London to have some Nandos.

On my 19th birthday in Brum all I ate was Nandos! I love it.....
