Music isn't good...But trailer is great!

the picture quality on yahoos end sucked and looked like a bootleg. Everything else looked awesome, I liked the music.

so far so good, love the marketings use of obscure rock songs. Muse I'd forgotten I liked them.

This trailer was no where near better than the one from the scream awards, but was still pretty awesome. Though the music towards the end was a bit werid.

it has an H in his chest, right..?

Movie looks sick. I loved the whole trailer, including the music. Unfortunately, I remember reading about them being called Watchmen being official a long time ago. Other than that, this is going to be amazing, and Rorschach looks godly. Does anyone know what song that was from Muse at the end?

Take A Bow. It's off their Black Holes & Revelations album. I love Muse, and I think they are highly underrated (they are the best live band I've ever seen), but the song was chopped up pretty poorly. I hope this movie is great. It looks great, but I'm still keeping an open mind.

One the use of "Watchmen" being said in the trailer: it could be an edit for the pre-viewing, non-comic book audience. Sometimes you might have to do that so they won't question why on the title of the movie (and comic) and there being like a team of heroes. But my feeling is that maybe they are using "Watchmen" as a term for the film replacing "superhero". Makes sense when you think about it, and the lines said in the trailer.

I loved the trailer and can't wait for this film but am I the only one who doesn't quite care for Rorschach and Dr. Manhattan's voices?

I think Rorschach sounds a bit too much like Batman and I always figured in my head while reading the book, that Manhattan's voice would have changed when he did and would have sounded deeper and less...normal I guess.

Not hating on the film just a couple of things that offset me while watching this.

The Muse song in the trailer kicked ass, I dont know what you lot are b****ing about...

Awesome trailer. I loved that we finally got some more dialogue, especially "Leave me alone!" It was pretty perfect.

Yeah, I'm really surprised everyone hates it. I love Muse. :csad:

Thanks, dude.:cwink:

Loved the footage that was shown, not really too fond of the music at the end. And what the hell is the comedian jumping off from?

I have a feeling this will look good on the big screen tonight, I watched maybe the first 15 seconds :funny:, teasing myself to death but I'm waiting for QoS later tonight.

I'm curious about this music though that has everyone cringing :hehe:

No, no, I totally agree. First off, wow, AMAZING trailer, my anticipation continues to grow. Love the mood and the visuals and I really think they're going to pull off a successful adaptation.

But yes, Manhattan's voice was nothing like how I imagined it the first time I read Watchmen. I'm not hating the decision, it's just....off.

Woot, good stuff regardless.

Oh yeah and MUSE *****ES. MUSE!

How can you hate Muse?! kill youself:cmad:

Yes, that's what I meant more or less. I don't hate either of their voices they just sound way off from what I expected is all.

Still excited as hell for this film.
