With part of the movie taking place in Egypt. I think the plot is somehow going to be tied the Abydos Temple. They found hieroglyphics that look somewhat like helicopter, sub and a few other things. They may try to play off of this when it comes to The Fallen.

The Predators of Alien VS. Predator we're "teenagers" because the Weyland expedition was their first hunt.

Everything about AVP was wrong except for the films basis. It should have been done with the original script on LV-426 with Colonial Marines caught in the middle. But instead we got a f***ing catastrophe!

As for the plot I think something was rumored that the spark did something to Sam and he kept a piece of it and the Decepticons are after that. I don't like the concept art of the naval boat transforming. I wonder if the Fallen is gonna be the outcast, Judas transformer, that was sent to earth. No Megatron though...that sucks.

AVP was always meant to be a prequel to tie in continuities with the predators and aliens, so why would the movie be in LV-426? If they tried harder, the movie would've come out smoother and made a whole lotta sense, imo.

But, for ROTF, I guess [BLACKOUT]Mikaela[/BLACKOUT] is the one with the fragment of the All Spark and keeping it [BLACKOUT]with her[/BLACKOUT] until Sam finds it. That's what I've heard at least.

And you would think him being named the Fallen, he would be the "outcast" within the Transformers. Maybe he tried to destroy Unicron and failed?

As for AVP, you got to look back to the property before Paul W.S. Anderson got ahold of it and you may be able to find script reviews of the original on LV-426 like I said.

But they didn't try. Not at all. They got steroided out Predators and had them fight in an underground pyramid in the antarctic. I still can't believe that came up as a plot. It was PG-13, too.

I think Sam finds the Allspark piece Optimus Prime collected from Megatron's chest in Transformers.

The film opens up in Egypt thousands of years before the pyramids are built. The original 13 Transformers are there, the Fallen goes against the other 12 for some reason and in the process is imprisoned in the desert. Thousands of years pass and the Egyptions discover him, build a pyramid around him and honour him as a god. In the present Sam discovers the location of the Fallen which explains why the Decepticons want him. With many more Autobots coming to Earth they also brought a dhip which enables Prime to locate Decepticons around the planet hence the country hopping. The Decepticons capture Sam, discover the Fallens location and go to awaken him. He wakes up, batters the Autobots, Prime arrives just in time with Jetfire, they combine and batter him. I honestly can't figure Devastator into this. Oh Soundwaves main mission is to find Megatron and resurrect him.

Not very good I know but I am very tired LOL.

My (educated) guesses. I have only just been back on these boards so I am still trying catch up on all the leaked info.

Here's some plot speculation:

The reason we haven't seen a lot of Ratchet on set is two fold.

1) Optimus has him in reserve at some central safe location so they won't lose their only medic.

2) Optimus has Ratchet working on figuring out more info about the Constructicons since the film opens with an attack by the RH-400. He could be trying to analyze weaknesses or in a nod to Wheeljack, create a solution to combat Devastator.

If the film ends like Empire Strikes Back, Ratchet will be one of the few left standing to mount a rescue/payback mission with the 3rd film. It's possible this opens the door for an Autobot combiner or Dinobots (if the producers came around to the idea) for the 3rd film.

I think the film will open in China, with the Autobots battling part of Devastator and the R8. They then fly back to the states (as seen in the set photos from Edwards). We know Ratchet was alive and well there, but I think somewhere shortly after, possibly while battling another constructicon, Ratchet will die.

If ROTF is going to be TF's ESB, then I think it's possible that some of the Autobots will die. The ending should be bleak like ESB, which sets up Autobot's triumph in TF3.

Some more speculation:

Sam is supposed to be having these visions. Ratchet would be in the best position to diagnose and help cure Sam of the potential All Spark radiation, while avoiding human doctors.

When Sam starts going on about The Fallen, Ratchet recognizes the legends and contacts Prime.

Ratchet is shown at an arctic location in one of the recent pics. Since that's where Spikes grandfather found Megatron, maybe he takes Sam there to try and retrace Megatron's steps or something along those lines?

I'm pretty sure that's not an arctic location, I think it's White Sands Missile Base in New Mexico. This is the second time I've heard it referred to as snow. But if it's the same pic (with Sideswipe) it's sand.

The only real thing we know about "groups" in the film are Bumblebee, Skids and Mudflap when they look for Jetfire.

Perhaps Ratchet, Sideswipe and Jolt go to do a different mission, as well as Prime, Arcee and Ironhide.
