Oh, wow. I've never encountered that. What game is it? At this point it's probably worth it to contact customer service of the publisher of the game or something.hey guys, have any of you run into the situation where you buy a brand new, sealed game, and the bonus DLC code that comes packaged with the game says it's already been used when you try to redeem it?
that's recently happened to me, and I've already returned and exchanged the game twice, meaning I've tried 3 brand new copies, with 3 different DLC codes, and all of them come up with the error message that the codes have already been used.

I'm sorry to hear that, after doing just a little quick searching online I'm seeing that that particular pack is a pre-order specific pack. I have no idea if that means in post-release most of those codes are useless but here's one of the threads I found (http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/110349/where-do-i-get-the-explorer-pack-upgrade). One comment says "Officially it's impossible to get the Explorer's Pack if you didn't pre-order."
Hopefully it all works out for you in some way, though![]()
I smell a lawsuit coming....hmmmm.....yeah, I saw that, too. which is why I was hoping to hear from the company officially.
but also from that thread, there's this post:
"It is correct that Explorers pack is "Pre-orderers only". However stores might have a physical copy with explorers pack key. The key stays valid until redeemd (afaik there is no time limit to redeem them). You can get one of the not-yet redeemed explorers pack keys, but the supply is getting smaler."
so, based on that, if the code's still packed in with the game, it should be valid until the expiration date on the code.
and if the code was only meant for pre-orders or early batches of the game, then why is it still being packed in with the game and advertised on the front of the box?
That amounts to false advertising on the part of the game publisher, if you ask me. You advertise content that the consumer thinks he's getting with the game but can't use.
I'll give them by the end of tomorrow to respond. otherwise, I will try to take the game back to the retailer and try to get store credit refund if possible.

I think it's a decent fighting game, and for $20, you can go wrong since I believe it has all the DLC from the last gen versions. And I only call it decent because I'm not really into fighting games so I can't compare it to others. Is Injustice a good game? I've been thinking about buying the Ultimate Edition for 20 bucks. Would anyone here recommend it?

yeah what X said. think of it as mortal kombat but without the fatalities.
it was actually free a few years ago on psplus.

Thanks for your input guys
Yea, as a fan of MK, and DC that was my main draw to the game, but I've also been burned before on similar princaple.
I read the Injustice comics, the first three years anyway and I dont know where they could take the sequel without it feeling like a rehash.
so a little over a year agoit was offered 13 months ago. The game is good and a sequel will likely be announced within the next few months
