The Official Pull List Discussion thread

Nextwave stays.:hyper:

Anything else I'm missing?

Huh, I've never posted in here before. Well, here's my list...

52
Action Comics
All Star Superman
Batman
Detective Comics
DMZ
Flash
Green Arrow
Green Lantern
Jonah Hex
Justice
Justice League of America
Robin
Superman
Wonder Woman

Astonishing X-Men
Captain America
Civil War
Daredevil
Fantastic Four
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man
Iron Man
Marvel Team-Up (soon to be replaced by Ant-Man)
Moon Knight
Nextwave
Punisher Max
Runaways
Sensational Spider-Man
X-Factor

Invincible
The Walking Dead

With now 30-some titles there, I'd like to drop a handful or so of them. Oh, and I know a lot of people will say to drop Flash and GL, but I'm stupid and really like the idea of owning full runs of Flash, GL, WW, and JLA one day. :o

Would you be willing to part with Sensational and Fantastic four?

Yeah, those were two I was considering myself. I loved the first are of Sensational, but after that it's gone pretty downhill. And FF...eh, JMS. :(

Get off Nextwave's ass. :cmad: I'll consider the other two. :o

Although, the current theory is that it's not gonna be stark in the suit post civil war, so it might actually be good

I thought about adding Batman, but the whole concept of the story doesn't really thrill me.The idea of Batman having a son who will but heads with Robin and Man-Bats attacking Batman don't sound like my thing. This title gets so much love from fanboys,is it just because Morrison writes it?

Anybody been reading Superman by Busiek?Wasn;t sure if I should add it or not.

Not really, I don't think its all that either, its a shame because it is Morrison after all. The story hasn't really developed so I am holding my judgement till then.

I read the first issue of the new arc, didn't like it. I'm enjoying Action much better.

Honestly, I've thought the Execute Program arc has been pretty good. The Extremis arc was meh. :o

Is Robin's book anygood?
Personally, I like it a lot. But it's gotten a lot of flack for turning [blackout]Cassandra Cain[/blackout] evil in the first arc.

Yeah, I think I'll be dropping that myself after this next issue. It isn't horrible, I guess, but it's certainly not one of the best out there.

Meh as in taking 10 years to come out?:ninja:

Hmm, I think I am going to try it out.

Yeah it wasn't bad, just wasn't my thing. Besides Action was much more fun with the "ebay villian". Plus Donner and Johns coming up, Action seems likes its the flagship title and not Superman.

Execute Program has been very good. The only reason I dropped IM was to make room for other titles, plus IM gets enough exposure in books outside of his own.

Anyone know which Green Lantern issue would be the best jumping on point in the new series?

Well, the next issue is the start of a new arc, but I really wouldn't suggest picking it up. It's pretty mediocre.

Is Green Arrow just starting a new arc as well?

Its on the second issue of a three part arc I believe. Its the first OYL book to actually tell what exactly happened to I think.

Last week was the first issue of the new arc, actually. It's a really good jumping on point, I'd say.

It was a good issue too.

If you're looking for Green Lantern, I'd suggest you try GL Corps. Very good book.

You think? I wasn't a big fan of it, myself. Even dropped it. Granted, I still read every ish. :o

I've been enjoying it. Guy Gardner has become my favorite GL because of it. I think the Regular GL book is pretty good as well, despite the criticism of others. Mediocre? Not really. Probably be better if it came out on time more often. Then theres Ion, which while very good, is just a mini. Best to wait for the trade at this point.
