Ultimate Spider-Man has gotten back on the right track after the debacle that was the Ultimate Clone Saga. If there's one thing that Bendis is usually 100 percent solid on is when The Kingpin and all the street level heroes are involved. And Ultimate Daredevil is pretty freakin' bad ass in the Ultimate universe too...so there's that.

But I honestly don't blame people for dropping USM after that horrible Clone Saga.

Horrible? The Clone Saga was amazing! Now of course, the identities of Scorpion and Spider-Woman were no shock...it's the CLONE saga, they were obviously going to be clones.

Horrible? The Clone Saga was amazing! Now of course, the identities of Scorpion and Spider-Woman were no shock...it's the CLONE saga, they were obviously going to be clones.

It had nothing to do with Scorpion and Spider-Woman being clones. It had everything to do with the fact that the story just wasn't that good. Everything was basically done for, what seemed, like cheap shock value. Like, for instance, making Dr. Octopus Magneto for some reason. And turning Mary Jane into a goblin. If that didn't have jump the shark written all over it I don't know what does.

Thankfully, we've got a more down to earth story with characters that Bendis writes well about 100 percent of the time. So, we're all good in the hood.

Ok, I'll give you MJ-Goblin, that was just plain stupid.

But this arc featured the reunion between Peter and MJ. It featured Peter telling his Aunt May who he really is. It showed that Spider-Man is so powerful, that even SHIELD was afraid of who he could become. Then, we get the return of Gwen...and she brings Carnage back with her! Not to mention the first appearances of Scorpion, Spider-Woman, and the Spider-Slayers (in action).

Well, yeah i'm pretty proud of myself for getting a good job, and though it takes up most of my time, at least it pays off. As for my list doubling, I don't think it will anytime soon. t:
