Just added Batman to my list.

I picked up 664-669,672-674.

Fellow shopper told me those are all the issues I needed to be caught up with the current stuff.

so are these all the issues I need to get caught up to now?

I got into GA with Kevin Smith's run and I genuinely liked him. But now he's apparently a better martial artist than Connor, able to outplan Deathstroke, and a general, all-purpose badass? Come on, he was more charming as an awesome archer who stuck to brawling for the most part.

yeah, the 2 hardcover collections were my prized possessions before i bought Watchmen and the first All-Star Superman collection.

I have the trade of the first arc and the hardcover of the second. I only got the hardcover because it was super-cheap at a convention, too.

yeah, they were the first hardcovers i bought, so they will always have a special place.

Quiver was good,Archer's Quest was better and Longbow Hunters really surprised me.

Morrison's Batman to me just didn't feel like Batman.I dropped it after #666.I much prefer Dini's Detective.I love me some Green Arrow So i think I'm going to start getting outsiders.

To me it's always been better since both started their runs at the same time.Morrison just went into very weird **** I couldn't get into.

I'm still reading his stuff but at the same time I'm eagerly anticipating a change of the guard (whenever that may be).

The last issue of Detective, with the Mad Hatter, was so great. Nguyen is a perfect complement to Dini's writing.

I miss Dini's done in one stories. I dropped Detective due to the constant fill-ins and tie-ins.

Those are all the ones I have and I understand everything. But I don't know what the first three issues of Morrison's run (656-658, before the fill-in team) are about.

The first issue seemed to me to be kind of like a base for his run, to introduce a lot of plotlines that will later all come together. Joker getting shot, one of the three Batmen with the gun, to name a few examples. Other than that it was just about Batman's first encounter with his and Talia's son.

yea,joker getting shot by one of the 3 batmen in the face is probably the only thing you really have to know,even that gets summed up in 664

Green Lantern is wandering on me a bit with the alpha lanterns...dunno, the focus seems off right now in the series.

Jsa is finally picking up. Not into Gog, though.

Spiderman comedy show continues. I read it in stores.

Liked the Insect Queen arc in Superman. Chris looks like a keeper.

Will Kal-l return, or is KC Supes gonna turn evil? Stay tuned.

GL needed some calm and quiet after the immense SCW.The past 2 issues have been really good,I like the focus on the Lost Lanterns who have pretty much become supporting cast here.That scene with Hal and Cowgirl in the air was so pimp,that needs to be in the movie!

Plus more John Stewart is always good for the soul.

JSA is my favorite team book right now.Love the huge cast.

I can't stand the Lost Lanterns. It's annoying me that GLC is being used as a vehicle for some hack story with Boodikka. I'm probably just gonna skip the second part of it, in fact.

Yeah I really can't stand the Lost Lanterns, my eyes glaze over when they appear on panel.

Morrison says he'll be going back to the Joker soon - I fail to understand how it fits into Salvation Run but I'm guessing his mindset and not image is what has changed.

But that prose issue was so rubbish.
