So me and my wife decided to be characters from Arkham Asylum Batman for Halloween this year, after playing the game. I originally wanted to go as the Joker and have her go as Harley Quinn but all the Joker costumes were lame and Scarecrow was SO badass that I couldn't help but do this:

this was the night before...this isn't the finished version, but it gives you an idea what the bottom of the pants ended up looking like...i ended up wrapping my feet (like in the game)...

this is the "claw" i made the needles out of glow sticks so that they would glow like his do in the game...i had the thinner tubes of glowing serum leading back to the packs on my arm too.

and this is to show case my wifes finished costume (also from the game but less true to the image)

I quite like the costume I made, especially since I won a $50 gift card for it lol. I'm still working on things though to help make it better. I'll bring up one thing though, wtf is wrong with people? I wore a Begins Scarecrow costume last year and everyone kept thinking I was from the Strangers. Even when I made my new costume which includes a hat and a trenchcoat and made the clothing more Crane-ish, I still got that crap. Not that I have anything against that movie, but the suit and mask rendition of Scarecrow existed before that film.

I kinda felt like Booster Gold on JLU... "Thank you, Green Lantern!"

P.S. WOW MiLLiViLLian, I really thought I'd be the only one brave enough to try arkham scarecrow but you did an amazing job and Harley looks great too! Great costumes!

Has anyone had any look locating pairs of glasses similar to the ones from Begins? I am trying to complete my Scarecrow costume (which I might wear to the premiere,) but am having a devil of a time finding glasses that look similar. Apparently, they were Alain Mikli model # is A0304, but the brand is discontinued. Does anyone know of any ones that resemble it closely/where to find a pair? It is literally the final piece missing from my costume. Thanks!

Hey guys saw this thread a few hours ago and got pretty inspired. This is what I have so far for a generic Scarecrow. Still have to figure out the mouth and some weathering etc but its been pretty fun so far!

Once I finish up with my Loki costume project, I'm going to attempt the Arkham Asylum Scarecrow should be a lot of fun that one- so looking forward to starting it
