One thing i really hope they do is some character posters of the villains.

I have no doubt they'll be doing that . I expect sometime in April Sony will Released their Character posters .

^ They WILL!... that I have no doubt of.... Look at the beautiful poster-art we got for SPIDER-MAN 2!!! If this is all we get for "3", I'll be highly dissapointed; but it WON'T be! In a month or so (maybe sooner) we'll get the official and final movie-poster(s)... I dont know if it'll be character posters or what, but we'll definitly get new posters.

Because of the pose, the arm might be a little too prominent (especially on the red-suit version), but it's not too long. I made a comparison mock-up with the "Choice" poster from Spiderman 2, but I can't figure out how to attach it.

My only regret with this poster is that red-spidey has a black web instead of a white one. Overall though, this poster works for me.

Now that is creative! I was in taiwan during the first spidey...and they have some of the coolest promos for these films....way to go!

this is an awesome poster!. I wonder if that is the same type of artwork as the spidey3 artwork with the symbiote going up spidey's arm. it probably is.

Thanks Retro. So, I'm guessing they'll be using this as the international poster. Can't say I like it as much as the other, the angle of Spidey in the window looks a bit odd.

That new spidey 3 poster is very "cute".... But it doesn't hold a candle to the absolute beautiful and stylish poster for spidey 2!...well, at least one of them:

^ THAT is one mean badass movie-poster right there! It looks intense and has a sense of realism to it! That new one for spidey 3 looks too cartoonish and drawn! (they are still just teaser posters)... I have faith that we will be getting some major badass posters for spidey 3 also, in the same style and coolness as that one above from spidey 2! It's a beauty, there's NO DENYING IT!

when it comes to the posters i agree with you 100%.

i am a little afraid because of this new poster. they always have the same theme for hte posters. so it looks like that the theme would be rain,reflection in the building.

This image looks way more professional looking than this International one. It's too carttony for me. I hope they dont use it. It has so MANY perspective problems its scary. I'm a graphic designer and I would never even consider it as a proposal. Sony, PLEASE, keep the reflection original with the two versions, the one we all have as a wallpaper, at least I do. PLEASE trash this international one! PLEASE!

i remember when star wars episode 1 came out, they had a real life darth maul standup at this acme i went to, he was standing above a bunch of coke bottles i think.

Also a designer and a fan, I prefer the new poster. I like that it's comic-booky. Spider-man is a popcorn-movie, after all. They both have their strengths and weaknesses, but the new poster has loads of energy that the old one lacks.

I'm also glad that Spider-man and his reflected self look more adversarial. The first poster, with the back-to-back pose and them looking at us instead of each-other, has the disadvantage of looking like a buddy-cop movie in tights. I know it's not a fair comparison, but I can't help but think of the poster for Double Impact (back-to-back Jean-Claude Van Dame) whenever I see the first poster.

Yeah, the pose and the angle are a little weird but i still like it.The battle within is still my fav though. It looks much better 'in person' than on a computer screen.

just like the post above i saw an ad on the side of a bus but ididnt have a cam with me. i looked like the skyline and sunset but it had parker in the red and blue with the mask off and mary jane was next to him holding onto him...it looked pretty sweet i wish i had my camera on me at the time. this was on a bus on the south side of chicago.
