Wrong. The fact that he doesn't use his powers for the purpose of abuse separates him from the average man. He doesn't abuse his powers. He doesn't rape, pillage, take control of the world when you know he could. He doesn't even use Superman to make money. The fact that he is disciplined to only do good things with his powers? That really warrants him the Superman title. That is the meaning of the tagline.

He's not just the ultra powerful male physically. He is also advanced as a moral man with discipline and control over what he can do.

"And yet you know that without the super-powers you probably wouldn't be here."

I dont think there will be a tagline,just tags from the characters quotes.

I could imagine the infamous quote of Lex "I dont want to do good things...I want to do great things".

I would a) love to see individual character posters, and b) love it if they had iconic quotes underneath them.

Maybe you could just have two versions of one poster, one with 'Truth' at the bottom, and one with 'Justice'.

No King or throne. Plus don't use the word "returns" at all!!!

It's simple and straightforward. And it could be placed at the bottom of a poster, telling you to look up at the amazing visual above the tagline.

Yeah I'd love that one (reminds me of the dialogue between Clark and Lex at the end of the LnC pilot)

One machine will become the greatest threat of all.

"The Last Son of Krypton is not alone"

^ Plant the above tag-line within the fanmade poster of Costner, standing on the porch with a riffel, and young Kal-El in the doorway. That's a winner. It's also something I could see Nolan make Snyder aim for. Making superman the "fragile" one. Have the taglines be addressed directly towards him. He's been raised with love, by humans. Much of who he is inside is because of the people who took him in and raised him as their very own. How would the man of steel have ended up, hadn't it been for Jonathan and Martha Kent??? I think it's a fitting tag-line ESPECIALLY if parts of the movie revolves around Young Clark traveling the world, trying to figure out who he really is. Feeling kinda lost. But he knows he has family to come home to. Even if it isn't his birth parents. They love him though - that's gotta count for something.
