as long as this Smallville is still in Kansas ( and not some other rebooted state ), I'll be happy.......

I must feel my home state pride when watching the movie........:o :word:

It looks like a real farm in the mid west lots of trees for shade to keep the house cooler in the summer. Not just corn. I live in an area like that.

There used to be a house at that location a while back but it burned down.

I heard from someone that this Kent Family Farm house was inspired by a house in Galena, IL. Galena, IL had filming done there and substituted for Chisholm, Minnesota in the movie Field of Dreams. Kevin Costner was in Field of Dreams and is also in Man of Steel.

Lets do 6 degrees of "Man of Steel" :yay:

Its amazing what a crew can do with a few weeks!

I can attest to that, as set/prop construction is my profession. Sometimes even after 25 years in this business, I'm still amazed at what we can pull off. I'm really impressed with the safe in the first costume picture. I'm sure the people that made it are very proud of their work.

I want to get a photo of the safe door all smashed up. I know where it is but it is inside one of the sets which is guarded by security. I saw someone from the crew took a snap of it and posted it also.

So perhaps it was built for the movie, and not just for the photo shoot? It did look however to be in a room with a really low ceiling, and to be very close to some one-lite doors which gives the illusion that it was crammed into a small photo studio. Maybe the Smallville bank is supposed to be very small. I wish they had a much bigger picture of it.

I think they are there just for some Triple J pizza!

2 nights ago I had some Triple J pizza. It was pretty good. Old World thin crust with a lot of sauce. The pizzeria's real name is "Uncle Lar's" but will be in the movie as "Smallville Best Pizza"

The bank is the building on the right.

The bank vault was posted a few pages back:

Wow. That is the same exact vault used in the official pic.

What does the JJJ stand for?

Is there anyone of interest in this shot? If so who is it and where are they located.

Looks like to me they are doing a waist up shot of Clark airborne and looking down at something.

The shot has Clark in the foreground and the trees waving in the background due to an oncoming tornado. There is a jet engine pointed toward trees to make it look like the winds of a tornado.

Guy in White Shirt in the Center waving.

"Uh Henry can you just move this way. A little more. You want fall you are superman. A little more."

Here is some of the detail they went through to create Smallville. These are just a few of the comps listed in the window of the "Smallville Realty".

There are some little mistakes if you guys want to find them :)
