The Official Tagline Thread

A Man of Truth. A Man of Justice. THE MAN OF STEEL.

Is the movie titled "Man of Steel" or "The Man of Steel?" I hope Nolan doesn't take Superman's alternative name too literally ala The Dark Knight. Perhaps Superman fights the real man of steel himself, STALIN!!!!

:oldrazz: LOL.

It'd be a bit cheesy but I wouldn't mind if they took a shot at everyone else in a royalty type way.

Something like "...the King of Heroes returns to his throne".

Yes, I just said it was cheesy.

No King or throne. Plus don't use the word "returns" at all!!!

Well back to the drawing board then lol.

By all means, I welcome anyone to create a great one that takes a shot at all other heroes. Sort of a "he's back and all you others aren't even close" kind of way.

"The World's Greatest Hero is Born" maybe.... especially if they're going uber-uber origins

Depending on how much marketing they were going to do, I wouldn't mind a light-hearted one or two.

"This December... ... don't tug on his cape"

How about a run of web-lingo taglines....like 'FTW'...or 'QFT'....

clek: ??? r u from krypton or somthing??

"In a time of myth and magic. One hero is screwed. Superman"

I wouldn't do it, but I must say it'd be a bit funny to see a poster of Cavill as Supes with just a FTW as the tagline.

Or a +1

Not gonna lie, I love that show.
That qualifies you as awesome in my book.

Merlin continues it's stories in a way that I wish Smallville would have been able to pull off. In terms of acting, characterization nailed down, and overall continuance.

And if they went with Bizarro...his poster would have 'WTF'.

Am I the only one that got a little goose-bumpy when he put the sword in the stone last week?

"It's not power that defines a man. It's the hero within that creates a SUPERMAN."

Just slinging poop at the wall, this time just going with one worders:

"Believe"
