The official "The Losers" movie thread.

cant wait to the end of the month. i hope the film is a good enough sucess for DC/vertigo.

there's a panel for this at Wondercon. With no Johah Hex in sight..expect a delay for that one..

very likely i guess if its true they have issues with the film. They might as well bump it to fall to resovlve any lingering issues.

coming soon on italian site comicus an interesting interview about The Losers.:yay:

im amped for this, love the new clip, looks alot better than the a team

Dont you find it funny though that when a troubled movie is bumped it doesnt seem to help it at all?

yea that does seem to be an issue. Though if hex is in bad shape, i rather see things get fixed now and just release it at a later point and all that.

Saw the trailer for the first time yesterday. I can't believe the whole film was filmed here in Puerto Rico.

Can't wait to see it.

Looks good, pretty hyped for this now after seeing the 7 clips. Have read the comic series and looks pretty faithful too w/ its own style and vision as well.

yea i cant wait to see the film myself, it looks fun and interesting. should be a good film.

I hope this movie is successful. It looks like a good team up action movie.....but it's sad that A-Team is coming out this year too

Saw a free screening last night, and it was pretty damn awesome. The whole cast vibes together so well, the action is great, definitely one of my favorites of the year thus far! And Jason Patrick is a hoot!

Now it'll be interesting to see if The A-Team can top it.

""Director Sylvain White and screenwriters James Vanderbilt and Peter Berg strain to achieve the pleasurable mix of cheap laughs and expensive action that Lethal Weapon pulled off effortlessly with the help of its stellar cast.-Village Voice""

""The film's vain attempts at being flashy and stylish is more loud than charming and never as clever as it acts.-Slant Magazine""

""Hot on the trail of "Kick-Ass," last week's experiment in vacant cartoon violence, "The Losers" is just as disgustingly wrongheaded.-Cole Smithey""

Saw an advance screening tonight. It was entertaining in parts, but merely OK when all was said and done. I've never read the comic, but I was kind of annoyed at how the end of the film was just a set up for a sequel/franchise. I wonder how similar the A-Team movie is going to feel after this.

6/10
