I'm asking the thread regulars about the sidhe because I'm wondering if I'm perhaps being targeted by these fey folk. My grandfather was Irish, and his family reportedly had dealings with the sidhe; you know, in the hills around 3:33 AM on nights when the moon was full. I think he may have made some kind of covenant with them, because it would seem they've come to collect on a debt.

It isn't uncommon for me to wake up in my apartment in the early mornings of the full moon to find things overturned, misplaced, or little messes made when I have no pets, no pests, and my door's bolted shut. Should I lay some defenses against the littlefolk, iron and whatever else I can find, on these nights to keep them away?

Know nothing about it. But I'd go to your local church or religious center or etc. Even if you are an atheist. No idea. But if this is true that something is going on like this to you. The church or center would probably have had dealings in the area with this before. Might be able to recommend someone. The Warrens for example sometimes found about cases through the church. Doesn't hurt to try going that route.
