Regardless of his portrayal of the role, Routh just sounds and comes off as very Superman-ish in real life.

And Bender looks like he's got the whole flying thing, down. If(and this is a VERY BIG IF) WB decide to do a spin-off or introduce the character of Conner Kent into the movie continuity, I think he should be cast.

Just one more week to go. It truly is a great time to be a Superman fan.

At the metropolis Superman celebration, Bender was asked about doing Superboy and he said they have two guys doing Superman (Routh and Welling) and he said they are doing a great job and he did not want to compete against them. He said he wanted to branch out into other things. Of course if other things don't come and he gets offered a role who's to say what he will do.
