Much like the one that can be found on the TDK boards if you have a question that does not reall need a discussion just somthing thats been bothering you this is the place for it Eg, after credits clip, what was that song, who played (insert name here) etc, etc.

For myself i saw the film yesterday and the credits at the end were possibly the shortest credits to a big film ever (they had Desolation Row over them by MCR and nothing more,) the whole credits were about 2 minutes followed by the paramount/Warner brothers logo. Is this the same everywhere or just my cinema (it was IMAX, but i found it odd such a big film would have so little crew involved or not give credit to half of the crew).

in RR voice,
*a username named The-Dark-Knight creating a thread in Watchmen forum? Ridiculous.*

I haven't read the GN in a while and I'm sure it's in there, but why does Moloch have elf ears ? (maybe there's no explanation and he was just born that way).

Got a question,

did Silk II fake it in the owl ship or was it real?

I dont think it ever explained it. I could be wrong though.

Well I got the book here and I think Molochs ears are the same, so I'm guessing thats just what they are. My question is, I am probably blanking on a giant part of the story but what happened to Roschach's voice? I know it sounds really dumb.

I think she liked batterys.

But she seemed to like what she had been given in that ship.

I think Laurie was genuinely enjoying herself with Dan. I mean Dr.M does say "I don't know what stimulates you anymore" but then again Laurie did seem to be in complete satisfaction with the multiple Dr.Ms. I guess when she found out that she wasn't Dr.M's priority that satisfaction in bed didn't/couldn't make up for the emotional void she felt (something Dan was able to provide).

i guess for sex to be fully enjoyable...you have to emotionally attached with that person...and Dr.M was out of touch with humanity...therefore as good as it was...she prolly didnt feel the sparks like she did with Dan...Dan looked like he was really giving it to her though...she prolly enjoyed herself haha

After he snapped during the kidnapping case, he started talking in a gravely, monotone voice. In the GN he doesn't seem to talk like that before the kidnapping case or when he has his mask off.

Did Rorsach lose the mask in the GN before being pulverized by Doc or was it there to give Jackie one final moment ? (like I said before it's been a while since I read the GN)

Yup ,he took of his mask in the book.

He took his mask off in the GN too.

in the GN
he lost his first mask and his draft journal forever, he had a back up mask in his apartment and his final version of his journal

Ok, here is the big question I had. From what I understood prior to seeing the movie, I thought that Doctor Manhattan was the only Watchman with powers. However, it seemed as if Ozymandias had enhanced strength to some degree. Does he technically have "super strength" or did it seem like he did because of the way Snyder does action scenes in conjunction with exaggerations of action scenes that exist in comics?

i think Zach over did Ozy's ability (esp when he jumped high at the end of the movie)
in the novel Ozy was shown on TV doing acrobatic skills and showed off his strength

Technically, Ozy doesn't have superpowers. He's touted as the smartest man in the world, fast enough to catch a speeding bullet, and possessing strength beyond his size. Although he doesn't have any powers, he's not exactly "normal". Think of him like a Batman type of character, who isn't super-powered, but we are expected suspend disbelief about some of the things he's able to do.

So pretty much, Ozymandias was enhanced physical reflexes?

I understood some things like Laurie twisting the crook's neck around in the alley scene or Comedian punching the huge chunk out of the wall during the opening scene to be Snyder's exaggerated way of filming action scenes coupled with the over exaggerations we see in comic books, but Ozymandias just seemed so powerful, I had to question it. The way he manhandled Comedian and the way he manhandled Rorschach and Nite-Owl made me wonder.

My question is the cops or swat capture Walter and mention he stinks, any idea why he stinks and what of?
