Where did you get that?

Right there in the article.
Where did you get that?
Let's see, I loved 300, Watchmen (Director's Cut), Dawn of The Dead and Man of Steel. I also thought Sucker Punch had potential. I don't have to convince you of anything. It's a matter of preference. Snyder is a decent director who is gifted with action scenes and visuals. Get him a good writer and editor, and his films will be great.
More the screenwriter's responsibility really.
I hear this argument a lot but a good director can make an ordinary script shine. The thing with Snyder is people see so much potential, the issue is at some point we have to ask ourselves if he's actually capable of delivering. To date he hasn't.

Sorry, what?
The director is the final author of the film. Everything is the director's responsibility. If the script has issues, the director has to get them ironed out or make the movie so that it still works without issues.More the screenwriter's responsibility really.
Once again, he's delivered in my opinion. His strength isn't in the writing department but does that make him a below average director? I don't think so. Every director has weaknesses (Nolan, Malick, Cameron, R. Scott, etc).
Actually no, sometimes the director doesn't know how to make a story flow properly.
Are people happy with Snyder directing JLA?
Didn't the majority on here want Ben Affleck to lend his supposedly superior directing skills to JLA to make for a better movie?
Yeah, but Snyder's is story related, the most important aspect of the film.
The director follows the script though. Unless they have a lot of power with the studio or it's an independent production and they want to deviate from it.
Snyder wouldn't have had that power though.
The only thing Snyder could control in terms of pacing were the shots leading into scene transitions.
Seriously, I don't see how this man can be trusted to juggle all these iconic characters in one movie. Not just this, but Justice League. Someone please tell me what I'm missing that continues to give WB so much confidence in this guy.
