I thought you were an Arsenal fan?

I don't see many Arsenal fans joining in on jokes about their trophy drought.

How **** are the Refs in Euro2012?

Given shows his world class keeper skills again...

Its a good thing Ireland fans are just happy for their team to be there because if it was any other country their fans would be complaining about the side not putting in a good performance at the very least.

Trap is too stubborn IMO. He needs to change things up. Put in McClean, Long and Gibson.

Off ****ing side!!!!!!!

Yeh but by the same token if he puts them in and they lose everyone turns around and says he should've stuck with the team that got them there. It's like the Rooney situation with England, if you play him mooks like me will say he shouldn't drop Carroll or Welbeck and if he doesn't others will say he's crazy to leave out the best player. At the end of the day would they be any better points or goals off if those 3 had played? all 3 teams they've played are in the top 12 in the world.

Where did UEFA get the officials for the competition? Dumb-Prats-R-Us?

Well you knew big teams from this group gonna go though. Well done to being there - and their fans singing heart out.

Ireland are in with teams who would expect to beat them and they're also not the strongest Irish side ever. I think the expectations will have been watered down like England fans were pre-tournament and if you adjust that for the Irish vs English average level (where we always think we're going to win the whole thing), then you're talking about very low expectations and just go out and have fun. Anything positive is a bonus.

Where does Wilshere (what's the latest on him by the way?) fit into that 3 man midfield?

I don't think Wenger wants to overplay like he did the season before last, which likely led to him being crocked for the majority of last season.

It used to be fun to participate in, but it's just to painful to talk about nowadays. :o

What do you think of Giroud VP?

I'm not completely sold on him, tbh. He looks to be lacking in pace and is mor4e of a poacher and up top striker. Though he does seem to know where the goal is and can finish clinically.

Personally I'd prefer a more fluid type of attacking player/striker.

I was looking in today's The Sun at work and it shows the head to head between England and France ( played 29, England W 16, France W 8, Draws 5). So if both teams win tomorrow do England top the group because we have a better head to head???

Gotya. Sounds like a useful player to have in any case.

The head to head means the game played between England & France in this Euro group which finished 1-1. As it was a draw, the tiebreaker would be unsuccessful and it goes to the next tiebreaker of goal difference.
