I am a big fan of this character. I liked his mini series 3 years ago....I thought that he would have been a better replacement for Johnny Storm than the over-exposed "Spiderman", when Johnny was thought dead.

But somehow.....over and over again, they find some way to get him torn to pieces and put out of action again and again and again!!!

What is the deal!!??? I just read Secret Avengers #25 and I'm like "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"!!!!

How many times is Marvel gonna do this? Now he is in yet another stasis tube. And for how long this time??

And how the heck can Hawkeye make the call the no one should tell Cap? I hope Cap goes ballistic over this! Shouldn't Clint be trying to get as many eggheads involved in trying to patch up this hero?? Instead he's living him in tube??

And at the mrcy of the faux Ant-Man?

I don't know, i guess Marvel feels the Marvel U isn't big enough for TWO hotheads...

Which is weird because DC has a whole stable of like-powered individuals, super speedsters for example, and that seems to work out ok...

I like Jim Hammond. I'm not too worried about what just happened to him though. I'm sure he'll be back when the Father Adaptoid arc resumes after AvX.

Yeah, he seems like a big deal in this arc. I think he'll be fine. The Vision's been f***ed up and in a tube or a hologram or whatever many times. It's like a synthezoid initiation ritual in the Avengers.

Agreed....I don't think they've even touched on what the Torch is capable of, being an articial man and all.

Well, I agree that Hawkeye keeping secrets from Cap is a stupid move. But I don't think any other scientists would be able to do much for Jim that the Hanks couldn't.
