I wrote in a other thread, this kind of looks like a pretentious version of the Gotham TV show. A bit of a shame, since Farrels Penguin is one of the few things I liked about "The Batman"

I however liked his performance so much, that I probably will give at least the pilot a chance.

Anyway, this looks great and I'm really looking forward to it. Colin Farrell still seems to be having a ball with this role.

I'm not sure how you can even remotely compare the two. What makes it pretentious? To Arachnerd's point, this is literally just noir.

Farrell is one of my favorite actors because he has a lot of range. He's perfect in this role.
