I use photobucket.

Thanks for the tip.

Wow, Luis Argerich has got some mind blowing shots.

Your welcome, and yes, he does. One of the few photographers I actually like from my photography page on FB.

I got myself a Singh Ray filter and am thinking of their graduated glass also. I love CPL's and use them a lot when I go shooting somewhere with water, but it does flatten your image sometimes.

Isn't those the expensive, like 300+ ones? I would love it, but a little rich for my blood.

I must buy a flash soon.

Also, 500mm lens would be nice :D

Flash is a must! Learn it, use it, and breathe it! 500mm isn't that expensive unless you go Canon and CL is friend if ya live in a big city, IMO. A friend has found a 85mm that I wouldn't mind having for like 150 buck's and fantastic condition (I don't know why he has it since he shoots sports...).

Here is a few that I did with just ambient, and one of those was my wife shooting until she said it was to heavy (Hope she gets more into it, be nice). All of this was at the park yesterday.

Here is a few of a senior I did today. One light with a assistance with a friend holding the Brella due it being windy. All of the settings are the same through the whole shot except for the power of the flash which ranged from half power down to one eight. F 4 Shutter 160.

Yeah they're a little pricey, but I like my ND filter from them. I plan on getting those graduated glass eventually too. :)

These are great; I think natural light looks fantastic on your son. It's crazy how much he's grown up in less than a year!

Nice job man. What kind of shot did you use for the Belfast telegraph? Once again, congratulations.

Friends, tonight is the night of the supermoon. I hope the sky stays clear tonight because I want to take some good shots.

Anybody else taking pictures tonight?

Tried in the past, just end up with a black image and a white spot......

Dr. Lee,

I got a nice shot not too long ago, and I used this technique which worked:

Use Tripod
Use High f-stop
ISO should be low-mid range
Decrease your exposure to about -3 or -4...better yet bracket your exposure to get a good range to choose from.

That's about it.

Looked like this:

Thanks... i'll definitely have a go at it later :D

Hahaha. Noone liked that new stuff, eh? That's all right. =) *Teasing*

Nothing awesome, tried to get one on my tripod but good ol' battery back was in the way. Shot with Tamron 70 - 200mm at 188mm with shutter of 320 and F 4 with ISO 200 hand held. Edited and cropped (major croppage) in Lightroom 3.

Midnyte,

Yours isn't to bad either! I think I manual focused with that one, not to sure on memory to be honest. Haze was really bad tonight.

You're telling me! This is what I had to work with lol

The moon is up higher now..less haze..this one looks better than my first:

What kind of lens are you guys using for the moon shots?

Tamron 70 - 200mm. It's still really, really, really, really speck of dust on the screen when you take it (Except the viewfinder) but when ya crop it if ya have a high pixel camera.

thanks but that is the shot they printed i submitted about 30 shots to the woman on the left and she was the one who picked the one to publish

I have a few pictures i took of the super moon saturday, but it was very cloudy so, not as great as i hoped, but want to share them. I dont have any extra lens for my camera either, so i'm happy with what i was able to do lol.

I love how bizarre the sky looks because of the clouds.

Don't know how my sensor got so dirty. My cleaning kit is coming this week; miss taking shots :(
