The Predator Vs. The Terminator

I know everyone hates Vs. threads but I really want to know what people think the out come would be. My wife and my friends and I have been debating and I wanted to know what others think. This is the predator from the first movie fighting the terminator from the first movie. This is not a "what movie do you like better" thread I want to know who you think would win in a fight.

Does the predator have acid blood, or is that only the aliens ? if so...predator would get shot and bleed on terminator and bam...dead...melt the bastard..though id prefer terminator to win

Predator doesn't have acid blood.
It's only for the Aliens.

In combat, the Predators employ a more stealth-like strategy which, in my opinion, gives them the upper hand. And they're more agile than the T-800s. Given those circumstances, the Predators would win.

But if you're talking hand-to-hand combat, the T-800s are machines. Strong machines with inhuman strength, undepleting stamina and a helluva tough endoskeleton with the insane ability to absorb blows. Predators, while having great strength and agility, are still flesh and blood. The Terminators would win.

The Terminator is too slow for an experienced predator. Also the predator has far more advanced technology than the T-800. Having said that, a predator doesn't stand a chance against the T-1000.

But we're digressing. The parameter for this discussion has been set at the first movies for both franchises.

Would a T-1000 generate any heat ??

If not then it would easily defeat the Pred ... simply due to its heat based vision.

As for the T-800 I think the Pred would win that one due to its superior speed and fire power.
